Bite Beauty Butter Cream Lipstick ($28) is a new permanent range of lipsticks that Bite Beauty launched this Spring with a “hand cut” bullet which removes the outer waxy layer to get at the creamy core of the lipstick.
You know how sometimes you get a lipstick that at first is a little bit dense and dry but you use it a few times and the upper layer wears down to reveal a super creamy lipstick! In a sense, they are kinda giving you the experience of getting a new lipstick that already has a “used” lipstick type of formula. Like a pair new jeans but with that worn, washed out feel. You gotta admit the concept is kinda interesting to say the least.
L’Oreal Julianne’s Red Colour Riche Lipstick is a new shade of matte red inspired by Julianne’s Moore. L’Oreal recently launched the Collection Exclusive Lipstick range which is a selection of matte red lipsticks based on a variety of pass and present ambassadors with different skin tones, hair, and eye colors which enables choosing the perfect shade of red a little easier.
The collection is also a spin on last year’s nude lipstick launch that was called Collection Privee. I’m thinking too far ahead but I hope next year we might see another collection perhaps with pinks? I always have a hard time getting the perfect shade of pink lipstick so I’d love to see what L’Oreal could come up with!
Let’s take a look at L’Oreal Julianne’s Red Colour Riche Lipstick!
L’Oreal Liya’s Red Colour Riche Lipstick is one of several new matte red lipsticks that L’Oreal launched in a new collection titled Collection Private Pure Reds for Spring/Summer 2015. Liya’s Red is inspired by Liya Kebede who is a L’Oreal ambassador.
L’Oreal Freida’s Red Colour Riche Lipstick is a shade inspired by Freida Pinto that launched with the new Collection Exclusive Pure Reds Lipstick Collection recently at drugstores.
Each of the Pure Reds Lipsticks are inspired by present and past L’Oreal ambassadors and are available in a wide shade of different matte shade reds which make it easy to select a flattering shade that’s most suitable for your skin time.
Freida’s shade is a brighter pink based red that’s complimentary to her darker skin tone, hair and eye color.

Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick ($22) launched in 10 permanent shades with the Urban Decay Spring 2015 Collection. Urban Decay created Sheer Revolution Lipstick in a bid to combine the best of their Revolution Lipstick but in a new, original formula that was sheerer, more hydrating, and shiny!
It was an interesting pick for Spring because who doesn’t want lighter color on lips as the weather begins to warm up right?
