Bare Minerals Simply Irresistible is a new 9 Piece Color Collection for Eyes, Lips, and Cheeks for Holiday 2012. If you’re more of a traditionalist and aren’t really loving all the Ready pressed products that BE has recently been releasing you’ll absolutely love this set.
This takes us back to Bare Minerals as we originally know them, their loose format. The Simply Irresistible set contains essentials for a complete holiday look (or two, or three…) for as little as $49. Quite the bargain! Plus it has a must have shade of blush that you can’t pass up on if you love Bare Minerals Fruit Cocktail.

Bless be! I think I discovered my HG Mascara! It Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Volumizing Mascara dashed across my dash about two weeks ago and every after that faithful day its remained a daily staple. I don’t typically commit to mascaras easily but this is truly a brilliant one.
You must try it!

One of my favorite gift sets of the season is the Clinique Lashes Top to Bottom Gift Set for Holiday 2012. You NEED to get this.
This set includes five Clinique Mascaras for $29.50. It’s such a great way to experience many of the mascaras Clinique has to offer if you never explored them before.
Me likey variety!

As you know from my recent post Physicians Formula released a new Organic Wear Fake Out Mascara for Spring 2013. This promises a false lash-like effect with added volume, length, and curl.
Along with all the bells and whistles you could possibly want from a mascara they also give it a 24 hour wear formula. This is also 100% natural origin and 70% organic with a formula free of harsh chemicals, parabens, etc…
Is it great?

Korres has some fun picks for Holiday 2012 including their new Goddess Beauty Color Collection. This is a good excuse to pick the set up as it contains a full size Magic Light Contouring Trio. Released sometime ago the Magic Light Contouring Trio was one that I missed out on. It’s been on my wish list for a while but for some reason I never got the chance to try it.
Let’s take a look!

Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara is a new volumizing mascara that offers a clump free finish. I’m not sure I really have issues with clumps…don’t get me wrong there are mascaras that clump occasionally but I blame the formula or applicator not necessarily my lashes. That’s not to say that clumping isn’t an issue some folks experience, in that case you might be seeking out a formula that will offer you a clump free finish.
On top of not having issues with clumps I wasn’t terribly excited to try Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara. I have not come across a single mascara from the Lashblast Collection that I actually like. For all the marketing and all the bells and whistles that comes along with their massive applicators I typically end up with a more natural fringe of lashes after use. You’d think all that fanfare would give me some drama but sadly, the finish from a Lashblast Masara is typically mediocre and just falls flat of what one would expect especially because most come with those HUGE club style applicators that look like they could do some major damage.
Perhaps Clump Crushed by Lashblast will change my mind?

Imma tell you the Tarte Stands Out Best Sellers Set is too cute however, I’d change one thing! Add in a blush next year Tarte, ya know, one of those small ones like from your Fantastic Foursome Gift Set and this girl would be very pleased indeed.
This little beauty discovery kit includes four Tarte bestsellers for $25. It’s an excellent introduction to the brand or a perfect pick for a stocking stuffer.
Have a peek!

L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Diamonds Mascara is a newly launched rendition of the original Voluminous formula with an injection of “diamond sparkle” for the Holidays.
I really dig sparkly mascara around the Holidays. It could be dubbed juvenile but I think a little sparkle on lashes during the holiday season keeps makeup festive. However, I wrote off L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Diamonds Mascara before I even tried it since the original formula did nothing for my lashes…
However, diamond sparkle is so bloody tempting isn’t it?

Maybelline released Volum’ Express The Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara here in the US finally. It’s actually an old formula for Asia and I believe the UK also has it (don’t quote me on the Europe release) but just recently launched on our side of the pond.
I don’t have a ton of beef with the Colossal formula. It’s served me well but it’s also disappointed me with releases like Mega Plush which is an uneventful drugstore mascara.
Maybelline Volum’ Express The Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara is something I knew I wouldn’t like but I wanted to review anyway and even try for that matter. You never know, it could prove amazing right?
No such luck!

MAC recently launched their new Haute & Naughty Too Black Lash Mascara which might seem familiar to you as it is a play on their original Haute & Naughty Mascara.
It deserves to be mentioned I loved the original formulation but I wasn’t sure how they could improve on this especially since it looked like the same exact product.
Let’s take a look!
