Covergirl The Super Sizer by Lashblast Mascara is new volumizing mascara that Covergirl recently launched for Summer 2015. I’m always reading reviews where everyone is telling me that some Covergirl mascara or another is going to change my makeup life. I end up trying said mascara and come out of having a WTH am I missing experience as many times I’m disappointed.
This is particular the case with Lashblast formulas. I always find the applicators too big, quite clumsy, and for a klutz like me I have a lot of “you’ll poke your eye out, kid!” moments.
Covergirl The Super Sizer by Lashblast Mascara does change things around slightly with a new thinner, spiker brush that promises to increase volume by up to 400%.
Touch In Sol Stretchex Stretch Lash Effect Mascara ($22) is a lengthening mascara with a lightweight formula that infused with “stretch polymer” to give the look of false lashes. This mascara and a few other Touch in Sol makeup products have recently launched at Sephora.
Touch in Sol is actually a Korean brand which Sephora recently started carrying. Along with Tony Moly, Dr Jart, and a few other Korean brands, Sephora is well on its way to being the next Urban Outfitters and I, for one, am quite happy to see more Korean brands easily accessible at one of my favorite places to shop beauty!
Let’s take a peek Touch In Sol Stretchex Stretch Lash Effect Mascara below!
Things you need ASAP, Essence Plump No Clump Mascara ($4.99)! Best mascara evers people! I typically dislike mascaras with huge club-like applicators (I’m talking to YOU Lashblast) because I’m clumsy and I’ll likely
shoot poke my eye out when using it. Plus honestly, do we really need a huge applicator? It seems unnecessary and it tends to lead to messy applications!
But Essence Plump No Clump changes everything….EVERYTHING!
Essence Lash Princess Volume Mascara ($4.99) is an affordable, budget friendly mascara that recently launched with the Essence Spring/Summer 2015 Makeup Collection. Dontcha just love cheap mascara? It’s a product we often have to throw out before fully using it so paying dirt cheap for it is always the way to go but problem…
I always find I’m never truly satisfied with drugstore mascara.
If you do a a splurge and save post one of the first topics that people will say they don’t splurge on is in fact mascara. However, I’m always of the mentality I want to spend a little more for my formulas because I do find a $20 buck mascara tends to work better for me than one I’d purchased at the drugstore for less. Which leads me on a merry rant about how very, very expensive mascara has gotten at the drugstore. Seriously, if I’m going to pay L’Oreal $11.99 for the latest Voluminous formula I might as well just give my money to some mid-range brand that performs way better!
None the less, sometimes the makeup gods smile down upon our heads and gift us with under $5 buck mascara like Essence Lash Princess Volume Mascara!
NYX The Skinny Mascara is a brand new mascara formula launching with the NYX Spring 2015 Collection. This little mascara is meant for harder to reach lashes and bottom ones too. I actually always use a smaller mascara wand on my bottom lashes so I don’t smudge and mess up my eye look with a larger brush! I think one of the first things that entered my mind when I got my hands on the NYX The Skinny Mascara was how much it reminded me of It Cosmetics Tight Line Mascara!
Let’s take a look and see if they are similar!
