Make-up Reviews

A long time ago in a not so distant past Bobbi Brown released my VERY favorite collection to date, Blushed Pink. I sweated so hard on the Bobbi Brown Blushed Pink release, you’ve no idea. One of the main reasons I loved it so much was the release of four Sparkle Eye Shadows that Bobbi has yet to reintroduce or recreate in any collection.
One shade, which I’m wearing here, happens to be my HG pink eyeshadow shades, it was called Ballet.
Fast forward a few seasons and the Bobbi Brown Beach Club Collection releases and much to my delight the new Bobbi Brown Metallic Cream Eyeshadow in Pink Oyster is a super dupe for Ballet.
Ahh all is right with my makeup world again!

Although difficult to work with, I still adore loose mineral blushes. Bare Escentuals has SO many vibrant shades that I simply can’t say no to, I also pretty much dig all over the more bolder shades Aromaleigh and Medusa Cosmetics offers as well!
On a whim I purchased some IsaDora Mineral Blush Powder and now I’m totally obsessed with it.
Likey!

Gather around kids.
Let me tell you something. Don’t let ANYONE ever telling you that spending less on product is a good idea. In some cases you may get lucky when you go the budget route but in my experience it’s rare that you actually snag something worthy of it’s $4 buck price tag.
For example, Bonnie Bell My Style Concealer is a mere $3.49. Sounds to good too be true doesn’t it?

When I was a kid I so wanted to be Penny from Inspector Gadget. I mean hey, she was the brains behind the whole business right? Remember her?
My geeky tendencies obviously started early on in life because I was Penny for Halloween one year, ahh obsessed with gadgets even way back then!
Gadgets are my specialty that’s why when I saw WanderLove Beauty Lip Wands at my local Duane Reade I had to indulge. Hey, three in one lip lovin’ in a slick shiny package, yes please, my inner Penny needs this gadget!

Last week I mentioned a few of the upcoming goodies you’ll be seeing from Maybelline this Summer and Fall one of which is the new Maybelline Falsies Volum’ Express Mascara.
Anyone try it yet? I heard a few of you saying you LOVED it.
My best friend Jai tucked one into my purse last night as I was leaving his apartment so this morning I tore into this with my teeth and proceeded to use it.

I rarely leave the house without lip stain in place. Most of my gloss photos always included some sort of stain underneath. Dunno, just one of those daily things I do, stain lips, apply gloss, and go!
I like stains for a variety of reasons but for the most part I like them because they give my gloss that little extra something to make it pop and transform ordinary into extraordinary.
A few seasons ago Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain popped onto the scene. Anyone remember them? Rollerball style applicator? They kinda reminded me of Lorac Cheek and Lip Stain at the time but way cheaper. Of course Revlon had meant for us to take advantage of these strictly as a lip stain but I was all about dabbing some on my cheeks for a bit of blusher. No rules against that right?
I actually still have some of these stains since I liked them so much and did double duty stocking up!
Now I’m telling you all this because Just Bitten has evolved into Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm Review. New packaging, new design, new everything….
Wanna hear about it?

I’m late with my MAC SuperGlass Review, damn shame too because I lurve them. When MAC Dazzleglass hit the scene I wasn’t going to indulge but I did and was pleasantly surprised how much I loved them.
Leave it to MAC to do it big as Dazzleglass wasn’t enough we needed SUPERglass yo!

Hey chickies!
One my favorite ways to wear bronzer is combining with blush. I always find the effects of cocktailing blush and bronzer makes the bronzer experience all the more easier and wearable.
Physicians Formula Organic Wear 2-in-1 Bronzer & Blush combines one part bronzer with one part blush for an easy bronzing experience in one palette.
What did I think?
