Oh well hello Lorac Pro Palette wanna be my new best friend forever? The new Lorac Pro Palette ($42) is newly launched for Fall 2012 and includes sixteen fabulous shades of eyeshadow as well as a Mini Behind the Scenes Eye Shadow Primer.
I feel like it’s Christmas! What a surprise for Fall to get such a wide range of eyeshadows in a single compact.
Of course, I instantly had a makeup boner (am I allowed to say that on here?) when I saw it pop up on Sephora. Lorac has a fairly great track record and releases high quality palettes again and again and again. I also feel like they offer enough variety in these palettes that they are worth picking up without worrying about dupes in past palettes you own or have tried from the brand in the past.

At a glance and a swatch Skin Food Sugar Cookie Blush is incredibly disappointing. Perhaps for a super fair skin tone but for me? No go.
I purchased it in Winter Cherry, proceeded to swatch it and was crushed that it barely showed up on my skin. I liked the color and was kinda hopeful it would prove a more pink version of Tarte Glisten but that swatch really slayed me.
Needless to say I tossed it on the side for a few days and almost didn’t bother trying it out.
Sure glad I finally reached for it!

Essence Voluminizing Lash Powder ($1.99) has proven completely out of my reach. I have an Ulta located about, mmmm, an hour away from me? If you’re from New York you probably know the one I mean. The only way I get there is when I head to Woodbury because it’s just too much of a bother just to go there to hit up Ulta.
Ulta carries Essence but anytime I go there I never find cool products like the Voluminizing Lash Powder.
One of the best parts about blogging beauty is you meet and become friends with so many fantastic people. This review wouldn’t be possible without my fellow geeky gamer Cult of Taupe. She gifted me with this recently, completely unexpectedly.
