I’ve always loved all things makeup and beauty but I think my love has definitely run a little cooler in the last few years simply because my blog over exposes me to the world of beauty.
The thing is if you love to eat something…I dunno..say grilled chicken or anything…and you eat it every single day for a few years, chances are you’ll grow incredibly tired of it. You might still like it but your love for it will grow cooler.
I feel that way about beauty sometimes. I love it, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes it gets a little boring and repetitive.
Which is why innovative, unique beauty finds are always welcome and that’s exactly what the new Urban Decay The Revolution High Performance Lash Curler has going for it. This is innovative beauty at its best and I was quite excited to try out the first cage free curler! Doing away with the bars on either side of their curler, Urban Decay has set out to make your curling experience a pinch-free one even though it looks like a torture device they promise a pain-free experience using it.
I hate going on holiday and proceeding to have no control over myself and the amount of brushes I decide that I absolutely HAVE to have along with me on my adventures.
Ugh….!
I end up packing 100′s of brushes that I know I don’t need but fear I’ll regret if I don’t take them with me. On top of this, no matter how careful I am about packing them they always somehow, someway end up getting squashed and smooshed.
If you’ve been curious about the DuWop Isla Sirena Collection today I have a treat for you. One of my readers, Sarah, took time out of her busy day to review a ton of the pieces from the collection.
Thanks Sarah! We all appreciation it in a major way!
Without further commentary from me here is Sarah’s review of the DuWop Isla Sirena Collection!
Face Q makes a range of full facial sheet masks that wrap around your neck that I am really enjoying. However, I am finding that their normal range is a very frustrating as I keep experiencing tears when I use them!
Recently, I popped open a box of Face Q Red Pomegranate + CoQ10 Sheet Masks and really enjoyed them but the tearing around the nose area happened yet again!
This one had me intrigued even though my gut instinct is to turn tail and run in the opposite direction whenever I see new drugstore concealers, I’m of the mentality that concealer is a splurge item.
Supposedly this one will erase dark circles and diminish puffiness. I’m having my love, hate relationship with it at the moment.
I ended up hauling some goodies from the new Laura Mercier Canyon Collection which proved as stunning in person as they did in their promo pictures.
The colors are very autumn and you’ll be delighted with them if you love rich berries, glow-y sunsets, and lush, warm shades of brown and green. As I played and swatched it I couldn’t help but yearn for a palette as Laura choose to release single shades of shadows with this collection.
Because I seriously need to get back down with The Walking Dead. ZOMBIES!
But bad news, Lauren Cohan will be in Season 2. Dude, that girl is everywhere. Supernatural, CIS: NY, Vampire Dairies, Chuck (the list goes on!) …she’s infiltrated all my favorite shows and she starting to annoy me. Stop it!
Speaking of zombies, naked lips…so damn hard to pull off without looking zombified. Granted, I don’t mind lookin’ like a Zombie. I said it before, I’ll say it again, Zombies are people too!
I’m long done with school but I totally pursue the aisles at my favorite stores for school supplies, new beauty, book bags, and totes…I have a slight office/school supply addiction so when July rolls around and Staples, Target, and The Container Store start ushering out Back to School goodies I’m so in like Flynn.
Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Radiant Blush is a new goodie that launched recently in the every evolving Beauty Rush Collection.
I kinda squealed a little upon seeing them at VS as I really enjoy the Beauty Rush Collection and just think it’s rather fun for makeup junkies like myself to see new bits and bobs pop up to keep things fresh and lively.
The latest launch is three shades of powder blush for $7 each or the typical 4 for $20 mix and match.
Let’s take a peek at some of the blushes I hauled!
