MAC has released a range of Pro Long Wear Paint Pots for Spring 2013 in a variety of lovely shades. MAC Pro Long Wear Paint Pots should be hauled because you enjoy Paint Pots in general however, I wouldn’t haul them because you expect some sort of super budge proof formula.
Technically, they are pretty much the same old Paint Pot formula with a new name…so yeah, WTH MAC? Aside from that, if you’re a fond MAC Paint Pot fan get ye to your nearest counter and grab a few shades!
Sephora + Pantone teams up again this year to create the Emerald Capsule Collection which features a new Color Theory Shadow Block. The Color Theory Shadow Block embraces the Color of the Year, Emerald, with frosty white and navy blue to contrast.
Can you rock it?
Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal 24HR Cream Gel Shadow in Silver Strike is one of those very handy shades of eyeshadow you should have in your stash for the perfect smoky eye look.
Sadly, I haven’t really smoked my eye out in a while using a traditional black and silver shade selection. I feel like it emphasizes my tired eyes in a major way rather than gives them that sultry bedroom look (not that I’ve ever associated my mud brown eyes with a bedroom or sexy time but yeah, you know what I mean! ha!).
Maybelline introduced their Metal range of shades with a metallic finish for Spring 2013. This collection includes five must have shades. Many of these shades had me worried as metallic finishes sometimes go a little frosty on me but thankfully, thus far, they are proving some of my favorites from the Color Tattoo range.
Silver Strike definitely holds a good deal of appeal for a smoky metallic eye look should you desire.
Dior needs to get on board and start creating an entire stash of their Twin Set Eyeshadow Color Sticks because I would buy ALL of them. Recently launched with the Cherie Bow Spring 2013 Collection these fabulous little color sticks contain a cream liner and eyeshadow on one side and a powder blending powder on the other.
Available in two shades, which you must own both of so you can pair them into a look together, these rather fabulous little pencils rocked my makeup world this week as I test drove them out.
Earlier last week I raved Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Natural Facial Scrub so folks started asking me if I tried Queen Helene Mint Julep Natural Facial Scrub…but of course! Outside of the Cocoa Butter one the Mint Julep is a fav as well (although I find the Cocoa Butter one a touch more hydrating).
If your flaky skin needs exfoliating but you don’t want to drop an expensive dime on one, well, grab this little guy up for as little as four dollars and get happy, glowing, soft skin for less!
