MAC Feminine Edge Fluidline from the MAC Glamour Daze Holiday 2012 Collection is most definitely my favorite of the three gel liners introduced.
The promo image alone caught my eye and I knew I had to have it. If you like Bobbi Brown Ballet Sparkle Eyeshadow you must get this!
I purchased several E.L.F. Jumbo Eyeshadow Sticks recently as they looked like a rather great bargain. Much to my delight I had smashing success with the E.L.F. Jumbo Gloss Sticks so this was promising for the Eyeshadow Sticks.
These are mere $2 bucks each and come in ten shades. Quite a value when compared to budget brands like NYX who also does a jumbo eyeshadow pencil as well.
Did I love them?
The MAC Primped Out Holiday 2012 Collection features an array of lip and eyeshadow bags. There are two limited edition Lip Look Bags in this collection which are $39.50 each and feature two full size lip products and one mini.
Mmm Holiday Makeup world of more for less you might find these bags a little lacking but that’s up for debate.
The MAC All for the Glamour Touch Up Kits for Holiday 2012 are simply darling but of course I have recommendations for change….!
These kits feature a MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick (full size) as well as a Blot Powder in MAC’s vintage style Holiday packaging.
Take a look!
MAC Glamour Daze is the color collection MAC released for Holiday 2012. This doesn’t include palettes or gift sets merely makeup single makeup pieces.
Going from the promo model and the colors in the collection I get a very Nancy Sinatra/Lana del Ray feel. It’s a lot of nude and mod shades of pink and peach with some vampy shades mixed in the background. It’s honestly not very Holiday for me in the least. Some of the pieces I did try from the collection are quite nice.
However, I always associate sparkle and red lipstick with the Holidays or a killer smoky eye…Glamour Daze isn’t exactly a palette of shades I’d choose for my Holiday look but that isn’t to say it won’t be a raging success who knows?
