As I mentioned a few weeks ago Benefit has a trio of Lust Duster’s available on Sephora for $10 bucks. Best deal evers in my humblest. Even better yet I hauled them during the Sephora VIB Friends and Family event so I ended up paying $8 for the bag of three. Nice right?
Wow look at QVC getting all fast with the shipping! I told you about the new Laura Geller Lip & Cheek Treat Sets on Monday which is the same day I ordered them and dude they came in my mail on Wednesday. Awesome shipping time right?
Speaking about shipping, total rant, I had to pay almost $10 bucks to get all three shipped grrrr sometimes QVC ticks me off with their stupid shipping prices.
Days like today are the days I realize how much I’ll miss Prescriptives when it’s gone for good. Although many of you expressed sadness and outrage over the base makeup items in the collection, I’m actually quite saddened over the limited edition items. I really enjoy special collection releases from Prescriptives and this year’s Lustre Holiday Color Collection is truly brilliant.
Stepping up Holiday with an array of color gift sets, plus the new Holiday Cheek and Eye Palette, and now a full color collection, Prescriptives is going out with a bang.
Check out some of Prescriptives Lustre Holiday Color Collection after the jump!
This short, wobbly little body o’ mine so does not need to think or even consider the idea of a chocolate bon, bons. However, I could take on the makeup bon, bon variety. Laura Geller Baked Eye Bon Bons Set is completely rich but remains calorie-free. Coolness!
I want Damon Salvatore to be my undercover lover. He’s so getting all naked and stuff tonight or at least the preview hints at that. But hey even if he doesn’t we sure have gotten tons of gratuitous chest shots. Him coming out of the shower, him waking up in bed shirtless, him getting dressed….it’s more than I can say for Dean and Sam from Supernatural, I haven’t seen those two undressed since two seasons ago. Please Kripke can it be naked time for Dean and Sammie soon?
Anyway!
Speaking of lovers, I got myself some Lorac Undercover Lover Concealer during a recent haul from the VIP Section. I’ve been wanting to haul this for so long and it was the perfect time to do so with it’s $11 likey kinda price tag!
Check it after the jump (sadly no shirtless photos of Dean, Sam or Damon after the jump but if you’re real desperate I’ll do one of me!).
Around the time I was turning 30, oh shut it, I so did not admit to being over 30….
Anyway.
A-hem….around this time I was a firm believer in NO powder under the eyes. I swear when I hit 30 it was scary good times under my eyes, so dry, Sahara Desert dry, possibility of no water on Mars dry, someone did not fill up the Pur Water Pitcher dry…..you get the point right?
So yes no powder was allowed anywhere near my eyes around this time, it was bad. Anytime I attempted getting powder near the area or tried setting my concealer with it, I’d end up aging myself 20 years or more. All that dryness really made for a terrible time.
The good news is I discovered how to treat my aging eyes correctly and suddenly I’m a firm believer in powders especially brightening powders for under my eye area.
That’s why I got excited when I recently came across the new Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Perfecting Mineral Concentrate.
Anyone try out the new Maybelline Great Lash Big Mascara? I snagged one for under $5 bucks and I likey so far. I mean it’s not going to change my mascara world but for the price I’d say, oh hello not bad at all.
Hard Candy Mouthing Off Sheer Lip Shine was one of the first items that was sent to be on the re-release of Hard Candy at Walmart. As you know I hauled a slew of Hard Candy recently BUT if I was depending on Hard Candy Mouthing Off Sheer Lip Shine as my marker to decide whether or not I needed more I’d probably end up with nothing.
So you know how I’m always on the quest for the perfect concealer? I do tend to get all Indiana Jone-like when it comes to locating concealer. By now I’ve tried hundreds……What? Some people love eyeshadow, some gloss, and me, I just happen to be passionate about concealer.
Get this, good times, I discovered Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer this weekend and I likey. I know right? That’s so saying something considering I wouldn’t trust the drugstore with something as important as concealer. But indeed its heck of a good stuff.
