Stila Countless Color Pigments Review & Swatches

Stila Countless Color Pigments

Stila Countless Color Pigments are the type of product that visually draw you in. The kaleidoscope of tie dyed shades really captures the eye and makes you want them rather badly. However, Stila Countless Color Pigments aren’t just about the pretty! They are also quite an interesting concept and are made for not only eyes but cheeks as well which make them quite appealing. Who doesn’t love a multitasking product?

As much as I wanted to love them I found in the end they weren’t all that great.

Sephora Long Lasting Kohl Pencil Review & Swatches

Sephora Long Lasting Kohl Pencil Eyeliner

Sephora Long Lasting Kohl Pencil sounds positively dreamy at nine bucks each. Available in six shades I was rather tickled that a Sephora product was actually so cheap! I mean this is along the lines of pricing you’d see from products like L’Oreal Colour Riche By Pencil Perfect Eyeliner.

And since I have a rather ok relationship with Sephora products lately I was hopeful these would be a win. Especially when the shade Intense Black passed by desk recently.

New Pop Beauty CC Cream with Color Adapt

Pop Beauty CC Cream

Looks like Pop Beauty CC Cream could prove promising as it has a color adapting technology! You know how much I love my Tony Moly Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream so count me curious if the new Pop Beauty CC Cream can stand a chance at adapting to my skin tone correctly.

All of the latest CC Creams releasing in the US including Clinique, Lumene, and other brands come in a few shade selections. The general idea of the CC Cream was to start out white with tiny color adapting capsules which burst upon application and adjust to your skin tone. Granted, in most cases this never works but I’m seeing many Korean brands that do actually embrace the technology and successfully work as I’ve tried many of them!

Pop Beauty’s new CC Cream embraces this technology so count me curious if they are successful with it!

Jesse’s Girl 9 Pan Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Jesse’s Girl 9 Pan EyeShadow Palette 2

The Jesse’s Girl 9 Pan Eyeshadow Palette is quite a beauty budget pick at mere $3.99 each. And I actually reviewed one of these not so long ago in a land far, far away…and felt like the formula wasn’t TOO bad.

Recently, I was picking things out of my to be reviewed pile and realized I also had the Tickled Pink version of the Jesse’s Girl 9 Pan Eyeshadow Palette which I hadn’t yet reviewed.

Unfortunately, my original experience with the shadow was so so, not bad but with Tickle Pink things went a little down hill!

Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Medley Palette Review & Swatches

Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Medley Palette Summer 2013

The Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Medley Palette ($4.99) were released int two shades selections exclusively at Walgreens locations for Summer 2013. I recently hauled and posted about them earlier in June but never got a chance to review them until now.

Honestly, I didn’t really love them for a number of reasons. Wet n Wild had a consistent run with me about two years ago with an improvement in quality and some great releases. I feel the brand has digressed with recent releases and the quality has gone down and the releases are highly repetitive. The ColorIcon Palettes in particular were fantastic but releases for example like Fergie’s Centerstage PhotoOp Eyeshadow Palettes are a joke.

These Medley Eyeshadow Palettes are another reason the brand loses points with me unfortunately.

Take a look!
