MAC Veluxe Pearlfusion Eyeshadow Palettes ($40) are a new creation from the brand that recently launched for Summer 2013. These shadow palettes contain five strips of eyeshadow color in graduating shades of color.
I was deeply impressed with all four of the palettes I tried and would liken them to Japanese Eyeshadow in terms of texture. If you’re a fond fan of Japanese brands like KATE or Majolica Majorca I’m positive you’re going to adore these.

Maybelline 24HR Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in Blue Paradise is one of eight new, limited edition shades that Maybelline launched for Summer 2013. Blue Paradise was a shade I was lucky enough to come across at CVS but I haven’t seen it anywhere else. So if you’re having a hard time tracking it down I would suggest CVS as your first stop.
Like many of the Summer 2013 Color Tattoo Eyeshadows I had a little grief with Blue Paradise but not nearly the amount of woe I experienced with other shades.

The new Avon Elements Moisture Boost Night Gel Cream promises me perfectly balanced skin in a gel formula. Hmmm….really? My skin is a little oily at the moment and a little dry so this combination type moisturizer seems a perfect switch up for Summer. First off, I really dig gel moisturizers in the Summer and secondly, I could use the extra moisture but also something to mattify the smaller oily areas around my face.
Perhaps this would be an excellent lightweight nightly gel moisturizer.

Avon joins Team BB Cream with their new Ideal Flawless BB Beauty Balm Cream ($10) and puts the budget in BB Cream with its sweet little price tag.
We’re plenty used to Korean brands offering the best and most brilliant BB Cream formulas for so much less but when it comes to cheaper BB Creams here in the US, well, the market is a little lacking. So when I run across one for $10 bucks I’m all over that as hey, this might be the one to thrill me!

The MAC Tropical Taboo Collection includes six new, limited edition shades for Summer 2013. I find there are two different types of folks when it comes to Mineralize Eyeshadows, those who love ‘em and those who simply hate ‘em.
I find I fall in between the line lately as I used to LOVE Mineralize Eyeshadow now I kinda have a love/hate relationship with them. Being in between should not be an option…you either love ‘em or you hate ‘em but you don’t both love and hate them. Insert rolling eyes here…!
Perhaps the ones from the MAC Tropical Taboo Collection will be a strictly a love?
