I’ve been playing around with my Etude House Princess Etionette Heart Blusher for the past few weeks and decided to review them today. These are a darling, limited edition release from Korean brand, Etude House for the Holidays.
As you can see from this post and some of my prior posts, it’s the darling packaging the blush comes in that really seals the deal. With a swoon worthy jar and little conversation heart piece blushes what’s not to love about this entire presentation?
As gorgeous as it is I fear a bad review upcoming…!
NYC New York Color Sparkle Eye Dust is a new loose eyeshadow available in ten shades for $2.99 that launched recently for Spring 2013. I purchased two colors at my local CVS not expecting much but being rather wow’ed by how pigmented these little guys are!

Revlon released a new version of Colorstay Concealer for Spring 2013. I’ve never tried this concealer before but I do believe it might simply be a repackaged version of their original Colorstay formula which used to come in a click pen applicator. But don’t quote me as I never tried that one….! I’m assuming that perhaps it was repackaged and has minor formula adjustments.
According to Revlon it will provide 24 hours of wear. This drugstore cosmetic claims get more and more ridunkculous lately….being a concealer junkie I’m all about long wear but 24 straight hours? Who even needs that?

L’Oreal Visible Lift Color Lift Blush is a contouring and illuminating blush created in six shades for Spring 2013.
These have a lightweight, mousse-like texture much like Maybelline’s Dream Bouncy Blush. The lighter texture is supposed to give skin a more youthful, healthy “lifted” look with a texture that doesn’t settle into fine lines. There’s irony in the “doesn’t settle into fine lines” because the formula made me look like I have monstrously huge pores when in fact my pores are so tiny you’d need a magifying mirror to actually see them so I can just imagine what they’d do on a finely lined face.

I was planning on blogging the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Steamer Solutions Facial Device early this week but I got sidetracked. I know, do we really need another beauty tool in our lives? But the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Steamer Solutions Facial Device ($125) seemed like something I could really use this Winter considering my dry skin seems out of control at the moment.
This professional steamer delivers a constant flow of moisture for dry, dehydrated skin….but $125? Ouch!
I found a SUPER deal though if you have room in your life for a new gadget!
