Shiseido Anessa Face Sunscreen BB SPF 50+ PA+++ is a very welcome addition to the Anessa Sunscreen Collection in my opinion. Being such a big fan of Shiseido Anessa for Summer protection, I was very excited they decided to release a high level protection sunscreen with a tint.
This hybrid formula offers a whooping SPF 50 as well as coverage.

Having already reviewed the Tarte Clean Slate Flawless 12-hr Brightening Primer for the dry skin lads and ladies out there now it’s time to address those with oily skin and larger pores, that’s where Tarte Clean Slate Poreless Perfecting Primer comes into play.
Sephora + Pantone Universe Color of the Year Eyeshadow Quad, what I thought would be one of my favorite releases from the Sephora + Pantone Universe Collection.
I was every so eager to spice up my eyes with tangerine. Dare I say, I wear it well? I can definitely do peach on my eyes but it depends of course on the shade.
Let’s take a look at the Color of the Year Eyeshadow Quad and see if I can work it and how good the quality is.
With girlish packaging, romantically scented formulas, and a perfect combination of practical and pretty, most all of the L’Occitane makeup pieces I’ve collected have become cherished pieces in my rather large makeup stash.
I truly look forward to L’occitane Makeup releases and they have delivered ever Spring since the original launch. I’m actually kinda of happy they don’t readily carry a makeup collection in store. It keeps from overwhelming and boring me. This way, when a release does come along I can get terribly happy and excited about it without saying to myself, “Oh, this again?”
The L’occitane en Provence Pivoine Delicate Collection will be launching shortly and with it three new shades of Pivoine Delicate Lip Shine.

Having been a long time user and fan of Korean BB Creams I’ve very pleased they have finally entered the US market. Actually, technically, I’m both pleased and disappointed.
The formula has under gone some vast changes in the transition from the Eastern to Western market. It is understandable though on some levels. There is room for adjustment in the formula as well since our market isn’t as interested in the whitening abilities of skincare products as a dominate Asia market would be.
Unfortunately, one of the things that is unforgivable is that formulas introduced have morphed and become so far removed from the original intent of a BB Cream that really, the only thing we are seeing at this point is a BB that acts more as a tinted moisturizer more than anything else.
Needless to say they have originally started out as one product but ended up adjusting to suit many different needs. Formulas in Asia tend to cover a wide spectrum of skin concerns such as concealing, producing flawless skin, whitening, brightening, anti-aging, and more….
Versus a lighter, sheerer formula here in the US that promises very few of the things listed above.
Dr. Brandt Felxitone BB Cream attempts to replicate the traditional Asia BB Cream. I had some interesting results with it. Here are my thoughts!
