Oh lord where does one start with Jordana Modern Matte Lipstick ($2.99)? Jordana introduced Modern Matte Lipstick to their permanent color cosmetics collection for Spring 2015 in 12 shade selections. They market these as a “kiss your dry matte lipstick goodbye and say hello to modern matte” which implies to me they are hydrating. They also call them an all day wear formula without the typical dry lip finish that feathers and cracks.
Something got terribly lost in translation here!
Urban Decay Enigma Eyeshadow Primer Potion ($20) is a new, limited edition neutral matte shade of eyeshadow primer that was created for the new Urban Decay the Ultraviolet Edge program. As you know the Ultraviolet Edge is a new global initiative program that launched to empower women.
Urban Decay Enigma Eyeshadow Primer Potion is one of the first products launching on tht Ultravoilet Edge platform. This means 100% of your purchase price will go the Ultraviolet Edge which in turn donates that money to women charities and organizations.
Problem? I love Engima so much that I need to stock up on a few hundred before it disappears
The Soho Disney Ariel Magical Illusion Brush Set ($12.99) is one of several new makeup brush and beauty tool sets that Soho has created in collaboration with Disney. Disney princesses have been showing up EVERYWHERE lately particularly on beauty items found at the drugstore.
I don’t know about you but I’m a complete child at heart and I can’t think of a single person that would could pass by a display of brushes inspired by their favorite Disney princess! This particularly set is a nod to Ariel. The packaging is too cute as the back says “Gadgets, Gizmos, and Thingamabobs for that girl who has everything!”

The E.L.F. Frozen Elsa Super Glossy Lip Shine Lipglosses in Pink Kiss and Fuchsia Fireworks are a range of limited edition glosses that launched with the E.L.F. Disney Frozen Elsa Makeup Collection for Spring 2015.
E.L.F. did something a little different with Elsa’s Collection compared to other Disney Collections they’ve done. For example, these two new Super Glossy Lip Shines are $2.99 each and do not come in a set the way, for example, the E.L.F. Disney Jasmine A Whole New World Lip Collection did.
This is nice because you have the option of shades to choose from but also it’s a little more expensive considering some of the past lip sets were marked at around $5.99 and included THREE lip products. Purchased individually you’re spending $6 and lacking one full size product that would be available in sets that launched in the past. $2.99 isn’t a big deal really but it deserves mentioning these details none the less!
MAC Julia Petit Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder ($28) is part of the limited edition MAC Julia Petit makeup collaboration that’s launching from MAC on March 19th (I believe it’s already available for purchase online).
Julia’s actually a blogger in Brazil so if you’re a fan of hers you’ll likely want the compact. For me, it’s a bit hit or miss due to not only the packaging but also the actual formula.
