The Muse sobs herself silly daily when she thinks about how Bourjois seems to be slowly yanking itself out of the US. Anyone notice when you visit their site they don’t even have a US portal anymore? Oh my god talk about ruin my day!
At the moment the only place I know you can pick up the line is at Ulta, outside of that it’s kinda difficult to locate. Lucky enough I have a few good friends in England who kindly snag me my Bourjois Paris.
Today I’m reviewing Bourjois Paris Mineral Matte Foundation. I got alot of e-mail about this one as many people were quite curious about it.
Take the jump for the review!
Ok, crazy mentality here. Listen up, crazy story time.
I am the biggest arachnophobia you’ll ever meet in your life. One year while camping with friends a daddy long leg popped on my shoulder and I swear I whipped my shirt off and ran screaming away. I still haven’t lived that one down.
I’m telling you all about this because I have such a weird mentality when it comes to spiders. I’m SO scared of them but I dig collecting things that are spider themed. I have a bunch of vintage pins, tons of Halloween decor, shirts, etc…that all have some sort of spider emblem on ‘em. I swear it’s all rather nuts. Scared but freaky fascinated…..
I’m digging on Sue Devitt Microquatic Black Widow Mascara at the moment…chalk it up to my obsession slash fear of spiders!
As per the Muse’s norm the first thing that captures her interest when exploring cosmetics is eyeshadow. I’m an eyeshadow kinda girl first off. Secondly, I go straight for the blush. And of course most important concealer…
After all that I normally explore glosses, base products, etc….
You know what’s last? Lipstick. I dunno why that is but it’s one of the last things that interests me. Which is why I could have overlooked Chanel Aqualumiere Sheer Colour Lipshine in Grenada if I hadn’t gotten a sample to try out!
To think I was just bragging to you how my skin is bulletproof but wanna know one thing that makes me break out like a teenager? Freaking Benefit Dr. Feelgood!
The cute packaging slays me but man oh man this stuff breaks me out something fierce. I have no idea what causes the problem but damn straight I get a face full of pimples whenever I attempt trying it out.
Shills Miss Perfect Pores Hide recently captured my attention. Knowing how bad Dr. FeelGood is for my skin didn’t really stop me from wanting to try this out regardless. It’s the packaging, the damn packaging does me in every single time.
The Muse is still having a bit of a tantrum that the new L’Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Collection that hit England earlier this year has yet to rear it’s head on this side of the pond. It looks like such an interesting array of products and it’s such a blooming shame it’s failed to come to the US as of yet.
No worries I’m kinda sorta keeping my fingers crossed that it’ll pop up come Spring. What are our chances?
In the mean time I’ll show you one item I was lucky enough to try out when a friend gifted me with it recently.
