Maybelline Fit Me Shine Free Stick Foundation is a new Fall 2013 product that launches in July. Stick foundations are a rarity in the drugstore world so Fit Me Shine Stick Foundation ($8.99) definitely pegs an interesting market.
These will be available in 12 oil-free shades with a lightweight texture Maybelline promises. I got two shades to try out and I have to say I’m impressed so far.

I should be shot for going against my no bronzer rule but the Laura Mercier Baked Blush Bronze in Ritual ($36) is just a little bit stunning and all beautiful so how can I resist?
With swirls of bronzer, brown, pink, and even a little chocolate this gorgeous baked bronzer is the perfect compliment to Summer looks!

Maybelline Precious Pearl Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow is one of several new Color Tattoo Eyeshadows released this Summer that will be available for a limited time at drugstores.
I have to admit compared to the Fall 2013 shades these Summer colors were a vast disappointment. I felt like the formula wasn’t even on par with the original formula.
Precious Pearl is actually one of two new shades of frosty white that Maybelline launched. The other shade, Waves of White, is more of a duochrome shade which reflected blue. With Precious Pearl you’ll get more of a cooler, frostier white.

I can’t be the only person around that thinks the return of MAC Lustre Drops is awesome. Anyone? Bueller? As a chick who is dead scared of highlighters I find it surprisingly delightful that I actually LIKE Lustre Drops…but what’s not to like? They are so freaking easy to use and such a compliment to Summer skin!
Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturizer sounds like the perfect moisturizer for me today. You know the “I stayed up too late wasting my life away gaming” moisturizer that gives you back your glow because your sleep deprived and dehydrated from sitting at your desk all night?
I got a preview of The Last of Us and won’t admit to the amount of time I’ve spent on it so far. Hours of my life I’ll never get back. Excuse me while I call in this review and get back to the game.
No seriously, part of my skincare issues stem from the fact I am simply not getting enough sleep so I’m wondering if Origins Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturizer can restore my glow. Plus did I mention it’s a gel moisturizer…score! Dontcha just love gel moisturizers for Summer? I can’t be alone here.
