Chanel CC Cream Complete Correction SPF 30 launched in Japan a bit ago. You’ll see CC Creams start trending into Summer 2013 with a bigger launch come Fall 2013 I’m sure. They are slowly starting to trickle into the US market. I surely hope that Chanel releases their CC Cream here soon (I suspect you’ll see it come late Summer into Fall) but I’m unsure of its launch as of yet.
I had a friend who lives in Tokyo pick this up for me when it originally launched however, online shops do have it close to retail.
Let’s take a look!
Urban Decay has launched two new palettes inspired by the movie Oz the Great and Powerful. The Urban Decay Theodora Palette ($49) was a fast favorite for me as I’m a brunette who loves nude, natural shades of eyeshadow. Glinda would be most suitable for blond, blue eyed ladies. But really, do we have to choose? Most of us probably feel we can rock either palette and I’m in complete agreement.
I just seem to favor Theodora at the moment though, here are my thoughts about her.
Flower Sheer Up Lip Tint is a five shade selection chubby tinted lip pencil recently introduced in Drew Barrymore’s new Flower Collection available exclusively at Walmart.
Yesterday, we were discussing how many brands are doing tinted lip pencils lately. Not to be out done it seems the Flower Makeup Collection is pushing all the right trend buttons from lip pencils like this to BB Creams.
I picked up one shade recently and gave it a whirl!
Here’s some thoughts!
I wasn’t sure I’d like the new Maybelline Instant Age Rewind the Lifter Foundation since I had a rather bad run with Covergirl Olay Tone Rehab.
These foundation with built in serums and primers just don’t seem to work out for me even though I have dry skin. You’d think my skin would love a formula like this but unfortunately, they seem super heavy and greasy on me.
I tried the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind the Lifter Foundation with the idea in my head I’d dislike it but it isn’t as bad as I thought!
My review on Clarins Skin Illusion Loose Powder Foundation is a long time coming. It’s something I’ve used almost religiously for the past several months and something that really excites me since I can’t wear powder foundation products well due to my drier skin.
This is a silky, loose powder foundation with light-reflecting pigments, minerals and plant extracts that creates a radiant matte finish and a natural, bare skin effect. There’s the keywords, “bare skin effect”…! Who doesn’t want coverage that’s flawless and natural?
That’s one of the key benefits of Clarins Skin Illusion Loose Powder Foundation, the bare skin effect and the reason I LOVE it.
