Revlon Age Defying Targeted Dark Spot Concealer Treatment ($9.99) is a new concealer that recently launched along with the new Revlon Age Defying Foundation that’s available in four shades.
The concept and idea of this concealer sounds very much like Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Spot Concealer + Treatment.

Coastal Scents Step One Eye Primer ($9.95) is a new eyeshadow primer that recently launched. Since Urban Decay changed the packaging on Primer Potion I’ve been trying a variety of eyeshadow primers like Make Up For Ever Eye Primer and NYX HD High Definition Eyeshadow Base. I’ve liked plenty of them but I have to admit none really are as great as the original Urban Decay Primer Potion formula.
Coastal Scents Step One Eye Primer had me curious and I was a bit worried when I saw the tube formula. It seems tubes are an open invitation for eyeshadow primers to separate and become oily….I’m talking to you Too Faced Shadow Insurance and Urban Decay Primer Potion.
So I gave it a whirl and…
Revlon Racy Rose Powder Blush is one of several new blushes that popped up in a special display entitled Revlon Cheek Boutique. I suspect that this is a revamp and repackage of Revlon’s original powder blush collection for Spring 2014. But you never know! These new shades could be some sort of limited edition release but I doubt it.
I saw the display at Bed, Bath, and Beyond as well as Harmons so far but not at general drugstores like CVS and Walgreens.
Looking at the display and the range of colors there’s quite a lot to get excited about here. They all look incredibly pigmented and the shades look unique and very pretty.
Revlon Racy Rose Powder Blush was one of the first shades that caught my eye. It’s a very pretty cool coral. Yeah, I know, Racy Rose….not very fitting for a coral shade but to me it’s pure coral. It quite reminds me a little bit of Bobbi Brown Apricot blush or even a more popping version of Bobbi Brown Pink Coral Blush.

Too Faced has plenty of Holiday 2013 goodies to love but the Too Faced All I Want for Christmas Set ($45) is probably my very favorite! Granted they have cute palettes and even massive ones to love but the All I Want for Christmas Gift Set has the basics and sometimes the basics are all I need.
I adore this set and highly recommend grabbing it.
Sephora Makeup Academy Blockbuster Palette ($49.50) is Sephora’s traditional Holiday monster palette that features 130 different products for eyes, lips, and cheeks! Concealer, eyeshadow, blush, lipgloss, lipstick, you name it and this monster palette has it.
Now I admit my first intro to the Sephora Makeup Academy Blockbuster was in August when Sephora had a preview launch for it. I didn’t indulge but seeing the promo images I thought it was a bit bulky and a bit too much. But it’s actually a bit smaller than you think and the contents are a whole hecka of a lot better than I had imagined.
