Colourpop Sheer Lippie Stix Review & Swatches

Colourpop Lippie Stix Sheer

Colourpop Sheer Lippie Stix ($5) launched earlier this week in eight permanent shades. With the introduction of Colourpop Lippie Stix Sheer, there are now a total of four finishes in the Lippie Stix family!

Colourpop Sheer Lippie Stix promise sheer color with a lightweight, comfortable feel on lips with a formula that contains organic coconut butter as well as vitamin E. These are by far my favorite edition of Lippie Stix to date and believe me they are far from sheer!

Kiko 3D Instant Volume Plumping Lipgloss

Kiko 3D Instant Volume Plumping and Refreshing Lipgloss is available in 21 shades and has is a plumping and volume-enhancing lipgloss that give lips the appearance of plumpness. Apparently it even increases the plumpness of lips over time (not so sure about that but yeah…).

Tarte Glisten Cheek Stain Review & Swatches

Tarte Glisten Cheek Stain1

Tarte Glisten Cheek Stain ($30) is a new permanent shade of Tarte Cheek Stain that launched with the Tarte Fall 2015 Collection. Tarte did a few shade extensions to their permanent collection and Glisten in a new formula, as far as I’m concerned, is a welcome treat as I love Tarte Glisten Amazonian Blush. It’s one of my favorite shades!

Kiko Soft Touch Blush Review & Swatches

Kiko Soft Touch Blush6

Kiko Cosmetics Soft Touch Blush ($12.50) is a powder blush available in 12 vibrant shades. As you know from some of my past reviews Kiko Cosmetics recently opened a store at the Palisades Mall. Kiko is an Italian brand that wasn’t easy to get here in the US so the fact they now have a store in New York is pretty exciting.

Let’s have a look at this little blush!

Tarte Energy Noir Clay Palette Review & Swatches

Tarte Energy Noir Clay Palette2

Tarte Energy Noir Clay Palette ($38) is a new eye and cheek palette that launched with the Tarte Fall 2015 Collection recently.

Tarte’s legendary for introducing palettes that feature an array of either neutral, natural shades or purples, their signature color. The Tarte Energy Noir Clay Palette definitely focuses on taupes and purples for Fall looks. We’re seeing a lot of matte, some contouring, and either a completely nude eye or a soft metallic one for Fall 2015 but Tarte actually veers off the trend path and heads into a more traditional shade look with these shades. Purple and berries seem to speak of the Fall season and the shades in this palette do deliver those particularly trendy shades if that’s the look you love for the season!

It’s funny as purples and taupe-y shades go so well together but my eyes are aging now and they don’t always look great on me. My brown eyes look great in the shades but it’s my under eyes that end up look a little tired when I’m wearing such dark, sultry shades!
