As with year’s past we get new, limited edition Holiday 2014 Eyeshadow Palettes from MAC. The MAC Keepsakes Eyeshadow Palette is the traditional MAC Holiday Eyeshadow Palette with six shades of eyeshadow that we get ever year. The thing about the Holiday eyeshadow palettes is they are not only affordable but also house a nice selection of shadows that pair up well together. However, after a while they actually become a little repetitive from year after year if you purchase them every season.
I’ve always loved them but unfortunately quality has gone downhill in recent releases and I think if the rest of the shade selections in this release is as bad as the MAC Keepsakes Eyeshadow Smoky Eyes Eyeshadow Palette you might be able to skip ‘em!
Bobbi Brown Scarlett Lipgloss is a new, limited edition shade that launched with the Bobbi Brown Scotch on the Rocks Holiday 2014 Collection. Tis the season for red lipsticks but I actually prefer gloss so I’m quite happy this lovely red shade of gloss instead!
Got $5 bucks? Spend it on the IMAN Deja Vu Lip Palette NOW! If you recall a few years ago the IMAN Cosmetics Lip Affair Palette launched and I LOVED it. Can I tell you that I used every single lipstick in that kit. It’s such a rarity I use anything up since I have so much makeup but that palette I practically licked clean.
Ya know what’s equally interesting about the fact I used it all up? I don’t like lip palettes. Hate them in fact. I don’t like applying lipstick with a lip brush and I always find lip palettes have dense formula.
Not the case with Iman’s Lip Palette!
And the IMAN Deja Vu Lip Palette for Holiday 2014? I better grab a back up as it’s headed the same route as the Lip Affair Palette!
Covergirl Lip Lava Lipgloss are a new permanent range of thick, liquid lipglosses that have the pigment of a lipstick with a high, shimmery shine. For me, these are kinda a retake on the recently released Revlon HD Lip Lacquers.
Take a look!
I recently purchased Shiseido Maquillage Essence Glamour Rouge Neo in OR241 which is a limited edition shade that recently launched in Japan. I actually own a few shades of the original Shiseido Maquillage Essence Glamour Rouge formula and love it.
But I must say Shiseido Maquillage Essence Glamour Rouge Neo doesn’t feel much different to me than the original formula but hey, that’s a good thing I guess because I like that formula anyway!
