The MAC Electric Cool Collection which includes the new Electric Cool Eye Shadow is launching this week (August 2nd). Excited?
I thought the MAC Electric Cool Eye Shadow formula was going to be along the lines of a reformulated Big Bounce release but thankfully, since I didn’t like Big Bounce Eye Shadow at all, it goes an entirely new direction.
The release includes 12 shades of eyeshadow ($17.50) which promise electrifying pigment in a lightweight formula.
After getting my hands on a shade of Electric Cool Eye Shadow I was quite delighted with the texture however, they prove a little difficult to work with.
The QVC Today’s Special Value today is the It Cosmetics Vitality Anti-Aging Color Collection I was showing you earlier this week.
This is a five piece, full size collection available for $59.94 (Two payments of $29.97 plus shipping) that’s available as a one time shipment or you can indulge in auto delivery which locks in the price and sends you a new shipment of the same products, different lip shade, in a few months.
The really great deal about the collection is the massive 1 oz super size of It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer. Since this concealer is so incredibly pigmented it’ll last for literally ages.
Take a look!
Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Luminous Bronzing Powder ($60) launched in two shades with the Chanel Summer 2012 Collection. I’m the type of person that avoids bronzers but occasionally like to dip my toes into the bronzing pool.
I have discovered by being a little adventurous that there are bronzers out there that do give just the right glow without dulling my skin out completely.
Is Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Luminous Bronzing Powder one of those bronzers?
Pixi Illuminating Tint & Conceal ($30) is a new multi-purpose highlighter come concealer for Summer 2012.
Packaging wise this kinda reminded me of the new Tarte Maracuja Blush & Glow doesn’t it?
Let’s take a look!
Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush ($28) launched earlier this Spring in a range of sixteen shades. I think these are easily overlooked since Estee Lauder is written off as a more “mature” or “older” brand.
I admit even I have dubbed it “grandma” makeup. But honestly, since creative director, Tom Pecheux, has joined the brand I feel like new life has been breath into many of the collections launched.
I have a hardcore lemming for Tom Ford Blushes however, I’m unsure if I’m ready to take the near $60 plunge to own one of these wonderful creations.
I must say that Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush has cured some of those lemmings. These are an affordable, luxury blush that’s well worth checking out. I have a feeling once you tried one you’ll want to grab up all the shades like me.
