Thierry Mugler Cooling Effect Concealer is a product I’ve wanted to try for a very, very long time but for some reason its been on and off my radar and I never actually hauled it until recently.
At $45 this is no cheap concealer and I fear I do fall into the trap of believing a higher price tag will prove a better quality product and in most cases, let’s face it, that’s the truth isn’t it?
The actual product is a light blue concealer which could raise a few eyebrows but I’ve actually successfully used blue concealers before and they do diffuse darkness rather well. The promise of the blue shade and a cooling formula proved to good to resist so finally I took the plunged and purchased this.
Here are my thoughts!
I’m currently obsessed with Eva Green’s portrayal of Morgan le Fay in the new series Camelot. How do they make her eyes look that bewitchingly brilliant?
She has very minimal makeup on but they somehow smoked out her eyes to the point they dominate her face. I love this look!
Perhaps a little Pixi Smoky Eye Primer can do the trick?
I couldn’t hold out long, I ended up hauling the TokiDoki Prisma Gloss Set!
The good news is the shade I have was devoured and I actually tossed it out, empty! I swear to the makeup Gods that the angels sung a little ditty for me when that happened. Seriously, how often does a makeup junkie actually toss an empty?
To celebrate I grabbed up the five back TokiDoki Prisma Gloss that Sephora has priced at a very affordable $32 since these are all full size I had to have them!
The masterpiece second addition of Guerlain’s Summer 2011 Collection, Terra Inca, is available on counters now.
This collections features the color portion of Guerlain Summer 2011 and pretty wicked pieces that I think are well worth checking out.
Here’s a little sneak peek and a few swatches of the new Guerlain Terracotta Inca Gloss Summer 2011!
Maybelline has a new Summer Collection out called the Bright Side. The collection features several bright shades of single shadows, lipglosses, and the gem of the collection in my opinion, The Brightside Palette.
The Brightside Palette is a tiny palette that features eight shades of vibrant, bold shades of shadow for Summer and is priced at $5.49 (you can get it for $4.49 thanks to a $1 off coupon on the Summer 2011 Collection display).
If you’re a drugstore kinda budget girl this palette you’ll probably covet this little palette.
Here are my thoughts on it!
