I decided to give Avon Extra Lasting Concealer a try earlier this month since it was on sale. Hey, $4.99 concealer seemed a tempting morsel. Extra Lasting Concealer is typically $9 but Avon has had it on sale for a fiver the last month or so. This comes in 7 shades and claims 18 hours of concealing wear.
I typically don’t have a ton of issues with my concealer fading. Blame it on my drier eyes but my concealer tends to stay put once applied and very rarely fades away so I’m unsure if I really need a formula that lasts eighteen hours because if I wanted it too my current concealer can go a full 24.
Anything to try a new concealer I say!
Avon Totally Kissable Lip Gloss is a follow up to Avon’s new Totally Kissable Lipstick. Soon after the lipstick launched Avon followed up with Totally Kisssable Lip Gloss. It feels like such rarity for Avon to venture outside the realms of its cult favorite Glazewear formula so Totally Kissable Lipgloss seemed extra special.
Don’t get me wrong they do lipglosses here and there but it always seems like it is some variation of Glazewear. The Glazewear formula is ok but not really as incredible as it is marketed as.
I admit to being a little skeptical of Totally Kissable Gloss, I just didn’t expect much from it.
I was wrong.
I’ve got my eye on the Avon Fiji Paradise Collection that launched for Summer 2013! Plus Avon has free shipping today and 20% off your total order so I admit I placed an order for a few pieces (I shared those coupons with you below!).
I really like the Fiji Paradise All Over Face Powder that’s available with this collection as it reminds me of the Jillian Dempsey For Avon Horizon Blush from WAY back in the day.
Let’s take a peek!
Avon has a new BB Cream! Avon Ideal Flawless BB Beauty Balm Cream ($7.99) is available in five shade selections and available now on their website.
Quite curious about this one but sadly, the reviews are a little mixed that I’ve been reading!
Take a look!
P.S. There’s a steal of a deal on some Avon Lipsticks, read more below!
Mark is right on trend with their new Color Me In Lip Crayons. Chubby lip pencils have gotten a big push for Spring/Summer and the new Mark Color Me In Lip Crayon joins the ranks in three shades.
I think Mark loses a few points as each of these are $12. Ouch. I think of Mark as a lower end brand that should have prices competitive with the drugstore or perhaps a smidge higher. Considering Revlon, Covergirl, and a slew of other drugstore brands have their own version of these tinted lip crayons at a far lower price (especially during a sale), Mark cuts themselves out of the equation slightly as you might second guess splurging.
Price doesn’t account for quality. If they are amazing that would definitely make me lean towards dishing out that twelve bucks faster.
