As I suspected, I’m so damn good at predictions, Bare Escentuals has introduced several shades of pressed blush. Bare Escentuals Ready Powder Blush isn’t a great surprise as the introduction of the Ready Eyeshadows was a brief prologue of things to come.
Of course, it is an exciting release simply because people generally enjoy the BE experience but not the messy application so a pressed format of the blush will make application run a bit smoother. Buxom has new pressed blushes as well but I wasn’t particularly keen on them, dare I say they were a little too vibrant for me but I’m quite curious about these.
Take a look, see if any shades call your name! As for me, I’m hoping for a pressed version of Fruit Cocktail, my HG (holy grail) BE blush of choice!
Matte I hate but I probably hate cream even more…! Just makes my lips look dry and zombie-fied!
But cream fans rejoice, a creamy version of Buxom’s Big & Healthy Lip Polish is on the horizon.
Buxom Big & Healthy Lip Cream Lip Polish has no shimmer, no glimmer, just a soft creamy lip gloss that delivers velvety smooth color to lips. Hyaluronic filling spheres infuse lips with moisture for a creamy soft feel and a fuller lip look.
Good news both the new Buxom True Hue Blush and the new Buxom Rush Blush Brush are available now at Sephora.com! These were set for a February release but they made a nice, early appearance for Spring.
Buxom True Hue Blush $24
Breathless (blushing peach)
Euphoria (lively coral)
Luvitate (shimmering nude)
Rendezvous (shimmering raspberry)
Seduction (pop pink)
Shangri-La-La (toasted berry)
Swept Away (peachy nude)
Tryst (shimmering clay)
Buxom Rush Blush Brush $24 This brush was specially designed to apply Buxom True Hue Blush. The brush head is domed to hit the apple of cheek. The longer, looser bristles allow for the perfect amount of buildable color.
P.S. I watched 15 minutes of Lost Girl this morning while getting ready for work. Anyone see it? It didn’t bore me so maybe I’ll keep the season pass.

I don’t have an exact price but QVC states it will be under $70.

As you can see the pressed blush we were waiting for will be arriving in this set! Buxom has their own collection of pressed blushes but this will be the first time the master BE collection gets a pressed blush.
I’m quite excited but probably won’t indulge since I don’t use Bare Minerals Foundation (eep so itchy!) sadly.
I’ll keep you updated as information becomes available about the set.
Gotta say I really like what Bare Escentuals has done with the Buxom line. It’s kinda a little brand all its own isn’t it? Many of the offerings are quite delightful as well. I think of it as BE’s younger, hipper little sister.
I can’t say how excited I was about the launch of Buxom True Hue Blush. These are a new blush launching in February that will be available exclusively at Sephora and Sephora.com in 8 shades.
I gave you a little sneak peek of swatches a week or so ago and after some testing here’s my review.
