Bare Escentuals
By the Muse on October 5, 2009
I Tivo’ed all the latest Bare Escentual programs on QVC about a week ago? I believe it was a week ago. Anyway, I expected that these would have some serious festive Holiday stuff going on as everyone seems to be decking the halls way early this year.
But no dice.
The show had few odd pieces that might be considered holiday-like but for the most part it was standard bits and bobs. Now Nordie’s has a new Bare Escentuals bareMinerals The Surprise Set which definitely can fall right into the Holiday theme of things but….snore….I’mma no likey it.  If this is what BE has in store for this season in regards to gift sets I may be saving a whole heck of alot of money
I’ll bide my time though and wait.
Bare Escentuals bareMinerals The Surprise Set is $54 and housed in a gorgeous faux book style packaging. It looks very elegant but the colors included are a bit blah for me.
You’ll get:
- Bare Minerals Intrigue Blush
- Bare Minerals Spellbound Eye Color
- Bare Minerals Surreal Eye Color
- Bare Minerals Suspense Liner Shadow
- Bare Minerals Secret Radiance Natural Lip Gloss in Brilliance (Angelfood Cake Flavored)
- Bare Minerals Tapered Crease Defining Brush, Line Diffuser Brush, and Cheek Brush
For me this one is a miss but many BE fans will probably adore it.
What do you think?

The Muse got all kinds of hyped when she seen the new edition of the Bare Minerals Extreme Glimmers Kit available on Sephora today. In honor of my excitement I thought I’d give you a peep at last year’s collection. This particularly set is still available on QVC and probably on Sephora too but don’t quote me on that as I haven’t been over to check.

Well ring ding ding today marks many an update on Sephora’s site particularly with the promise of Holiday 2009 is in the air over yonder.
A few updates my little eye did spy were ones from Bare Escentuals. The Bare Escentuals Holiday Collection always strikes me down as I general enjoying hauling many of their offerings due to the amount of product they tend to bundle together paired up with an inexpensive price tag.
Let’s see what the deal is this year!
Jump for it.

Some makeup is so terribly pretty. Gorgeous packaging, delicious colors……but just because it’s pretty doesn’t always mean it’s great.
And so goes the case with the brand new bareMinerals Radiance Rocks Set that I recently purchased from Sephora.
Oh woe is me why can’t I love it?

Innovative beauty? Possibly. bareMinerals Radiance Rocks are made up of three minerals in their most natural state.
Hmmm….
Interesting but what’s it for?
Jump!
This set is made up of three mineral rocks in various shades for a sheer wash of refreshing, cooling color on eyes, cheeks, or body.
Possibly one of the most interesting cosmetic assembles the Muse has seen to date these do so appear interesting. They come packaged with a Kabuki Brush for application and three shades which are bronze, champagne, and warm rose. Honestly, they look gorgeous but the question is will they be messy or way too pigmented to work with?
Remains to me scene but this Muse did so plop ‘em in her cart at Sephora and is eagerly awaiting their arrival on her doorstep…maybe they’ll be as special as they look!
What do you think?
Available for Sephora Beauty Insiders for $35.
P.S. Bare Minerals has done “rock”-like cosmetics before with a bronzer rock this past Summer.

The Muse generally enjoys bareMinerals Tutorial Kits so she’s all excited about the latest offering from BE which is the new Eyelining Kit!
Jump ahead to hear more about this cool kit for making lining eyes easy and simple!
First I fell in love with the Smoky Eye Kit and than the Rocker Kit captured my fancy and now I must have the bareMinerals Tutorials Eyelining Kit.
This kit includes everything you need to learn how to line like a pro, indeed I need to learn these things. An easy script on a tip card allows you to create a perfect lined eye look in a few simple steps.
bareMinerals Eyelining Tutorial Kit includes bareMinerals sable liner shadow (matte) and minx liner shadow (shimmer). The set also includes a magnetic multi-liner brush with brush pouch. An interchangeable handle has a magnetic bottom for inserting either a flat line brush or a regular thin tip liner brush into it. One brush allows for multiply liner looks!
The kit is available now for $38 from Bare Escentuals.
