I freaking love the C.O. Bigelow Lemon line. The shower gel, the hand soap, the moisturizer…it’s all good news to me. So get this, best news evers, C.O. Bigelow Lemon Eau de Parfum. Can you say freak out!?
WANT!
Click it for the deets!
So check it, C.O. Bigelow Lemon Eau de Parfum is inspired by my beloved, favorite Lemon Body Cream from C.O. Oh my god likey! It’s a pure, sparkling lemon fragrance that blends gren lemon leaves, citrus notes, and a creamy white musk. Sounds pretty much like what heaven smells like (I’ll write a mass e-mail when I get there one day so you know if I was right about that!).
The scent already has a near 5 star rating on the Bath and Body Works website. Likey some more! The price tag isn’t half bad either for an EDP which is $34.50 for a 3.5oz size.
I so need C.O. Bigelow Lemon Eau de Parfum in my life please. As much as I LOVE Loccitane Citrus Verbena it just doesn’t seem to last on me, sadness. So slap me excited that the C.O. Bigelow one has an EDP, maybe it’ll linger longer on me? Oh please, please, please!
The Muse is a listening and has heard a few pleas yammering for a review so as soon as I can get my hands on it, I’ll be giving the good word!
Anyone wants?

If you’re ordering something for your mum from Bath and Body Works (go now! There’s still time to get it in time for Mother’s Day!) you can slap these little guys into your cart too for a sweet bathing experience.
There are two Delish Bath Cupcakes on sale at Bath and Body Works for $6 each. You can choose from (or choose both) Carrot Cake or Sweetie Pie. Each is housed in a cute little gift box and tied with a ribbon, perfect for giving to mum (I’d keep it for myself though…eep how rotten of me! I can justify that by saying my mum is not a bath person anyway!).
If you’re ordering from BBW anyway it’s well worth tossing ‘em in your cart to tide over your shipping to $65 to take advantage of the free shipping. I’ve tried them before and they are quite delightful! Nice price, killer pressie!
Snag ‘em by clicking here or here.
Happy Hauling!

(oops sorry for the extra “o” in too! hehe!
You know how pushy MA’s can be! Heck, you might even appreciate it since some of them work on commission but none the less it’s still rather annoying to say the least.
So today’s Musings is which counters or stores do you find the most aggressive, the most irritating, the most pushy….
Jump ahead for my reply!
Actually, my choice isn’t a cosmetic counter. In fact it doesn’t have anything at all to do with makeup. The place I avoid at all costs because the reps are annoying, irritating, and EXTREMELY, maxed out, over the top pushy is Bath and Body Works.
Omg!
Going into Bath and Body Works in one word is a ridiculous experience. I haven’t set foot inside one in a long, long, long time since the sales reps are just awful, terrible, a real nightmare. They are so incredibly pushy it turns my stomach to even venture inside the store. I don’t even think they work on commission but they are somehow programmed robots to push, push, PUSH! They push so much that I think most people are pushed out the door without bothering to purchase because of the irritating way the reps are.
Try this, try that, have you seen this? How about that? Have one of these? This is $5! Here let me get you a cart, a basket, a bag, a tote, let me hose you down with our newest fragrance even though you’re sneezing all over the place.
Truly Bath and Body Works needs to tame it’s reps. Maybe if they do I’ll consider going back inside one of the stores. Until than I avoid it at all costs!
How about you?
What’s your least favorite store or counter to visit because the artists or reps are just too bloody pushy?

You know my mum thinks that the solution to life, the universe, and everything is bottled up in a jar of Vicks Vaporub.
For serious.
Anything that ails me can normally be solved by rubbing myself with Vicks Vaporub. I dunno, that’s what my mother told me.
If I have a cold rub some Vicks on my chest, if I’m coughing rub some Vicks on my chest, if I have a sore throat rub some Vicks on my chest….what can I say my mum is either a nutter or kickin’ it old skool. So I do admit that she has a point here. I do feel heaps better after a rub down with Vicks Vaporub but mmmm walking out of my house and going to my office with a bunch of greasy petroleum under my nose and on my chest is a tad bit on the strange side.
Have no fear! I have just the solution for fighting off the flu and cold season with an easy to use product that’s in the Muse’s purse!
Jump ahead to check it out!
Guest starring in the Muse’s Purse today is Body Works Cold & Flu Therapy Instant Aromatherapy Roll On!
w00t! Portable cold control!
What is it?
It’s an all-natural roll on that contains a blend of eucalyptus, basil, spearmint, wild mint, lavender, cedar left, and essential oils. Shake up the bottle a bit and roll onto the base of your throat and around the chest are, now breath deeply to combat the unwanted effects of your stuffy noise brought on by the cold, wintery weather!
Don’t you love this? I totally dig having a portable roll on for clearing up my stuffy head and nose. I can’t concentrate when I’m constantly sniffling and this does the trick at clearing up my stuffy nose and allowing me to breath easy again! Pure perfection in a little roll on bottle!
Let’s face it, carrying around a jar of Vicks Vaporub is not an option so get the next best, budget friendly option (this is only $5 bucks) to tote around in your purse with you! Bath and Body Works Cold & Flu Therapy Instant Aromatherapy Roll On is in the Muse’s purse and remains there until the warm weather sets in!

The Muse hearts Bath and Body Works Lambie in a major way! Last year she hauled Bath and Body Works Lambie Slippers but was a tad disappointed that they wore out so quickly! This year she decided to wait for the Bath and Body Semi Annual sale before indulging and she’s glad she did because she got three pairs of Lambie Slippers for $12 USD each yay!
Make the jump to see my haul!
I was quite happy that this year they made the Lambie Slippers a bit more stronger plus this year’s version encases the entire foot so you’re tootsies will remain nice and warm! This new style also prevents the slipper from wearing down the way the old version did. Likey!
At $12 USD the Muse thinks it’s worth hauling it.
Snag yours at Bath and Body Works!

Quickie post telling you that Bath and Body Works is offering 20% Off your total plus guaranteed Christmas delivery so if you’re doing any last minute shopping or just want to score a little something for yourself now would be a great time to do so at a discount!
Yay!
How’s everyone’s Monday going? I just realized that I somehow let Christmas get away from me this year! 10 days left and aside from having my tree and decorations done super, super early everything else is piling up waiting to be done!
Oh the stress! I know I’ve had an epic fail this year in regards to gift idea posts and such! Sorry about that guys! Life has a way of catching up with me and sometimes it’s not always Musings times!
I’ll be back on track soon! Just hang tight!
Love you all and hope your heart is filled with the season!

I lurve me some shimmer. As if we hadn’t already established that already! Remember last year when Guerlain released a gold, shimmering radiant powder with it’s Holiday Collection? Oh the love….I felt the shimmery, gorgeous golden love!
Now…as gorgeous as it was we have and had obstacles. It was $78 USD which for any diseased, cosmetic junkie was well worth it but honestly I do so admit that might have been a bit of an overkill price wise. If I had to do it all over again I’d still buy it anyway! The second obstacle is the fact that it’s long gone and probably never to be seen again unless you’re willing to swap a kidney on MUA or sell a heart on E-bay!
But…have no fear…the Muse is here to save the day!
So you want a budget version of Guerlain Gold Radiant Powder? Check it:
This be Bath & Body Works Limited Edition Radiant Powder and it’s just as awesome as Guerlain plus it’s heaps cheaper! Now Bath & Body Works Radiant Powder is not new by any means however it does have incredible new packaging as you can see above which just totally sells the product to me.
Bath and Body Works Radiant Powder vs. Guerlain Radiant Powder
The powder comes in a vanity worthy Victorian style perfume bottle with ball depressor. Simply squeeze and you’ll get a burst of gorgeous scented shimmering gold powder anywhere you please. I think that Bath & Body Works aimed to design this for your body however I’ve been using it in my hair, on my face, along my shoulders and arms, across my chest. It be crazy shimmer time kids! Not only do you get gorgeous golden sparkle here and there but you also get a rather nice, lingering scent as the powder is available in three different scents. I dunno how…I dunno why…but the scent does linger for a considerable amount of time on the skin. I was just under the assumption that the scent would fade right away but it actually sticks around quite a fair bit. Golden shimmer and scented? I’m loving it!
As I mentioned above it is available in three scents which are Vanilla Noir, Warm Vanilla Sugar, and Japanese Cherry Blossom. The vanilla scents are my favorite as they each hold a certain warmth that I associate with the Holiday Season. Vanilla Noir is pretty much straight warm vanilla where as Vanilla Sugar has a subtle bite of spiciness and deeper warmth. Japanese Cherry Blossom is equally as gorgeous however the softer floral doesn’t give me as much as a festive feel as the other two scents, I’m sure I’ll feel more love for this during the Spring then right now in the Winter! I’m kinda sorta hopeful that Bath & Body Works might consider doing these again next year but in scents like Twisted Peppermint and maybe make it pink shimmering goodness?
Each powder is $24.50 USD and comes in a nice elegant box perfect for gift giving! At the moment they are offering a buy two get one free on these so you might want to head online or in store to nab a few for gifts or just to stock up for yourself as they are LE.
All in all I can’t say enough good things about these and believe they are well worth their tiny price tag for such a lovely little package of golden shimmer! They’ll look beautiful on your vanity plus they make rather awesome gifts in my humble opinion! If you’re still kicking yourself for missing out on Guerlain’s Holiday Collection 2007 you can stop and just head into Bath & Body Works! Treat yourself for some golden radiant powder for $24 bucks and call it a day! Totally Muse Approved for purchase and well worth checking out for yourself especially since they are on sale this week!

Lou Bega needed a little bit of Monica, Erica, Rita, Tina, Sandra, Mary, AND Jessica in his life……
Well hello ladies!
but the Muse thinks all you need in yours is a little bit of Bath and Body Works Twisted Peppermint! I don’t need all the insanity just give me a bit of Twisted Peppermint and we’ll call it a day!
Well ok maybe if you said I need a little bit of John, David, Lee, Benoît, Colin, Mathew, and Robert in my life I’d be all over it like wild fire! I’d hit these!
Well HELLO boys!
Damn I guess we should prob settle on the Bath and Body Works Twisted Peppermint considering it’s readily available! This isn’t the first time you’ll hear me rave and celebrate the goodness that is Twisted Peppermint so get used to it! It’s going to be a long month full of Twisted Peppermint goodness and the Muse’s love affair with it.
My latest find is the huge, jumbo Bath and Body Works Soap and Lotion Caddy! Score! This duo comes in a cute silver caddy and includes a jumbo size of Bath and Body Works Hand Soap in Twisted Peppermint plus a matching lotion!
Loves it!
The Muse is feeling all Christmas-like every time she washes her hands now! I have one of these caddies in each of the bathrooms in my house plus in my kitchen and one of the larger lotions by my bedside! It’s Twisted Peppermint insanity at the Muse’s house! I even grabbed a few to store away to last me all Winter long when Twisted Peppermint makes it’s exit after the Holiday season is over! This is the first time that Twisted Peppermint has been available in hand wash and hand lotion format so of course I’m all over it! Twisted Peppermint is a twisted cocktail of soft vanilla mixed up with a wintery mix of cooling peppermint! Mmmmm likey!
You can nab the caddy for $15 USD but the Muse got most of hers on sale by using coupons so the most she paid is about $8 USD which is a total deal! Bath and Body Works seems to be extra giving with the coupons this year!
Right now you can nab these caddies for $15 USD plus an additional caddy for 50% off but you can always wait and see what other sales pop up! Last year I remember they had these in Candy Apple and a few other Holiday scents at a whooping 75% off so if you wait you can score a deal or two!
The Muse thinks that Bath and Body Works Twisted Peppermint should make an appearance on your wishy list this season and it’s definitely Muse Approved for purchase! A Muse staple item all the way!

It was a dark and stormy night….
So the Muse decided to take out her Bath and Body Works Lambie Blanket, curl up on the couch, and watch Fringe episodes that have been on her Tivo for the last three weeks!
As the Muse sat and pondered (and fast forwarded through commercials while wondering if she should forgo Fringe and settle for backed up Graham Norton episodes instead!) she realized how much nicer this year’s Lambie Blanket was from last year’s version. Softer, cuddlier, and with a cute little lamb face embroidered into it!
The Muse realized that this indeed was another fabulous purchase that she scored for a real steal at Bath and Body Works last week! Normally it retails for $35 USD (which is well worth it!) but the Muse happened upon lovely coupons from Bath and Body Works and ended up paying merely $25 USD! Bless be!
The Muse was slowly realizng that after filling her tummy with Korean BBQ tonight that she might not be up for Fringe at all but more along the lines of a long Winters nap thanks to her very comfy blanket……!
The moral of the story is hurry out to your nearest Bath and Body Works and grab yourself the Lambie Blanket and other Lambie goodies before they sell out! The Muse Approves ‘em for purchase! The Muse loves Lambie and thinks you will too!
