It was a dark and stormy night….
So the Muse decided to take out her Bath and Body Works Lambie Blanket, curl up on the couch, and watch Fringe episodes that have been on her Tivo for the last three weeks!
As the Muse sat and pondered (and fast forwarded through commercials while wondering if she should forgo Fringe and settle for backed up Graham Norton episodes instead!) she realized how much nicer this year’s Lambie Blanket was from last year’s version. Softer, cuddlier, and with a cute little lamb face embroidered into it!
The Muse realized that this indeed was another fabulous purchase that she scored for a real steal at Bath and Body Works last week! Normally it retails for $35 USD (which is well worth it!) but the Muse happened upon lovely coupons from Bath and Body Works and ended up paying merely $25 USD! Bless be!
The Muse was slowly realizng that after filling her tummy with Korean BBQ tonight that she might not be up for Fringe at all but more along the lines of a long Winters nap thanks to her very comfy blanket……!
The moral of the story is hurry out to your nearest Bath and Body Works and grab yourself the Lambie Blanket and other Lambie goodies before they sell out! The Muse Approves ‘em for purchase! The Muse loves Lambie and thinks you will too!

When I first seen Bath and Body Works Shea Cashmere Collection I was on the fence about whether or not I’d like it or not. I’m normally a foody/fruity type of girl which means I prefer my bath and body products either sweetly scented or scented like some sort of food. I’m a real girlie-girl when it comes to scents and I’m really peculiar and particular about what sort of scents I enjoy using to scent my bath, body, and perfume products.
Bath and Body Works Shea Cashmere looked like something more along the lines that my sister would like. She normally loves comforting blends and I normally prefer a bit more of a sweet factor to mine which is why I was so surprised when I tried out some of the Bath and Body Works Shea Cashmere Collection! I liked it! Alot!
It’s a rather comforting scent that really appeals to my nesting side. When the colder weather sets in the Muse goes into nesting mode and likes to stay home cuddled up on her couch with good friends or family to watch a movie on TV or catch up on some Tivo. I think we all have that rather strong urge to just veg out when the colder weather sets in and nothing feels more comfortable than laying up in bed under a warm comforter and reading a good book or watching some telly! This is the vibe I get from the Bath and Body Works Shea Cashmere Body Lotion I recently tested out!
The scents is a comforting blend of beautiful vanilla with a really fresh, comforting base. It reminds the Muse of fluffy towels, soft cotton sheets, and plump down comforters! It’s not your typical Bath and Body Works vanilla blend it’s more of a cocktail of really warm vanilla with faint traces of cake or vanilla frosting. It’s just a super comforting smell that’s too complex to really explain. I’ve only tried the lotion so far and I must say it’s quite a luxe moisturizer and keeps my rough elbows and knees happily moist and soft! The formula is quite thick but it manages to absorb easily into the skin leaving behind soft skin and a beautiful, lingering scent.
The Shea Cashmere Collection also includes hand cream, foot cream, shower cream, and more! It’s worth heading into Bath and Body Works to have a peek and a sniff plus right now they have a slew of gift sets that are too tempting to resist.
The Muse liked this one alot and thinks it’s especially lovely for the Winter! Do check it out for yourself at www.bathandbodyworks.com or at your local Bath and Body Works.
Oh by the way L@@K:

Bath and Body Works Liplicious Lip Color and Lip Sugar Scrub Review

Bath and Body Works Sleep Collection Review
Oh my god, Bath and Body Works 2-in-1 Liplicious Moisturizing Lip Color & Sugar Scrub couldn’t come at a better time!
This week we are back to having nice, calm October weather but last week we had some sincerely cold weather which means major chapped lips for the Muse!
Don’t get me wrong I love a brisk Winter day but I DON’T love the chapped lips that come with it. Ugh agonizing!
Sadly, once I get a case of chapped lips I start looking like this kid! I’ve labeled this look the Kool-Aid smile! Remember when you were a kid and had a large glass of cherry kool-aide and came away lookin’ like you were Bozo the Clown?
Yeah, well, keep that mental image and multiply it by ten and you’ll get what the Muse looks like with chapped lips!
Steve knows the danger of the Kool-Aid smile!
So does Al! (Don’t mind that snotty look on Al’s face! He always looks like that after I tell him, “No, Al, you didn’t discover the bloody Internet!”)
How the Muse looks with chapped lips!
Although I was suffering hard with my chapped lips last week my pain wasn’t too bad after I slathered myself with Rosebud Salve! Considering that Rosebud Salve is the solution to Life, the Universe, and Everything, the Muse knows to have tons of it on hand when the cold weather sets in!
However, sadly, Rosebud Salve does moisturize and does heal chapped lips but it doesn’t do much for flaky dry skin left behind by chapped lips!
So lucky me that my Bath and Body Works 2-in-1 Liplicious came in the mail just when my chapped lips were clearing up! One end has a pigmented moisturizing lip color and the other end has a solid scrub to rub off those gross flakes and bring lips back into the realm of normal! I tried mine out Pomegranate/Brown Sugar Scrub but if you’re not loving the sound of that you can nab one in Coconut Truffle or Candied Apple!
It’s suggested that once you buff the Brown Sugar Scrub onto lips you can lick it off and although it’s very pleasant tasting the Muse didn’t want to “eat” it so she smoothed it on and tissued it off with a facial tissue. I actually really dug this considering that I’m normally really scared of scrubby lipsticks like this one. However, the formula is so gentle and buttery smooth that it makes application a snap and it does a rather fab job of exfoliating lips! The only disappointing aspect is the fact that the scrub doesn’t last all that long and only a little bit is in each tube. Since it’s such a melting formula almost as soon as you scrub it on half of the tube is gone! Sad sigh! Aside from that minor rant I actually loved the feeling and what a great job it did get my lips back in tip top shape!
After getting my lips nice and smooth I can flip to the other side of the tube and apply the pigmented, glossy lip color that tastes like Pomegranate! I loved the formula on this as well! It’s glossy, moisturizing, and adds a nice little pop of color to lips!
Sportin’ Liplicious Pomegranate on my lips!
All in all I think these are rather handy little items! The price is $12 USD each which I think is a bit too high however it is buy 2 get 1 free which breaks the cost down to $8 USD each. $8 USD is a much fairer price than $12 USD in the Muse’s humblest opinion!
If you’d like a nifty little way to keep your lips nice and smooth while adding a nice moisturizing lip color into the mix of things I suggest checking these out! The Muse liked ‘em! Next on my list to try would be the coconut!
