G arrived from the Sea yesterday, directly into my mailbox! She was a little damp and she brought a little sand and seaweed with her but for the most part she arrived safe and sound. She’s now living happily on my vanity but I fear she might crave the ocean and leave me soon as she’s only around for a very limited time.
Time to gush and squeal like children as G of the Sea is probably the cutest release from the Harajuku Lovers Fragrance Collection to date!
Here she us!
Harajuku Lovers G of the Sea!
Aww she just launched at www.Sephora.com and I had to share her with you! I did a brief post yesterday about possible new Harajuku Lovers Fragrances upcoming for Summer and G of the Sea just appeared on Sephora earlier today.
No other girls have been made into a mermaid as of yet but G gets the special star treatment with her very own fragrance straight from…the sea?
This new limited edition fragrance features crisp apple, magical water lily, and tangy sweet crushed berries with a heart of floral notes including freesia, pink peony, and jasmine petals!
She sounds as enchanting as the Little Mermaid herself!
I must have her.
What do you think?
Ooo today I came across a sneaky peek of what the Harajuku Girls have in store for us this Summer.
I’ve been busy testing out the new Harajuku Lovers Fragrance Wicked Style Collection these past few days. Any verdict on what you think? I think at first glance we were all kinda yak about the girl’s velvety, bobble-like heads but after seeing them in person I actually changed my mind some I felt like they were pretty kawaii!
Although so far I will say out of the two scents I’ve tested out I haven’t yet found one to really love. I know the last round I just loved all the girls but this round they seem to smell very alike to my nose?!
But…regardless, no doubt they will appeal to fans plus those who like sweet, fruity florals can easily get on board with ‘em!
Jump ahead to take a peek at Lil’ Angel!
Anyone try the new Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style Fragrances yet? I got ‘em in the mail yesterday and proceeded to go to down misting myself silly.
My best friend Jai was with me at the time and he just gave me the silent eye raise that translated as, “You are so not doing that.” Hey, that’s part of the fun of trying new fragrances eh?
Wicked Style is a really huge revamp from the original line up. We discussed it in prior posts but it deserves a re-mention here. The girls now have velvet-y bobble-like heads and outfits that adapt various fashion styles from Japan. Baby for example is wearing Kawaii Decora which is a playful style adapted from younger Japanese girls that uses lots of layering and bright or pastel colors and accessories that include furry toys and jewelry.
Ahh the Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style Collection launched recently. Anyone sniff ‘em yet? I haven’t but I’m gagging to try ‘em out. None to impressed with the velvet-y bobble head bottles, I thought the old girls were way cuter, but regardless I find some of the scents are always keepers with each launch.
I know some of you emailed me asking when I’d review and I’m working on it soonish so no worries, give you the deets shortly.
Until that time, here’s a break down of the new girls!
We discussed the new Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style Fragrances already but do jump ahead for an updated pics and a few more deets!
I love me some Harajuku Lovers but the new Harajuku Lovers Wicked Style Perfumes launching this September….
Well, I’m not too sure about this revamp.
Damn you Gwen! Why did you have to create the Harajuku Lovers Fragrances and Accessories? Imma just love everything you put out that’s stamped with the Harajuku Lovers name.
My recent foray into Target had me stumbling across a ton of cute school supplies with the Harajuku Lover Girls stamped all over it and of course, Sephora has an entire makeup bag line dedicated to them.
