Hello Kitty Beauty Tokyo Pop Collection launches at Sephora for Spring 2013 much to the relief of fans everywhere. For a second there, with so many things discontinued and clearanced, I was sure the Hello Kitty Collection was a goner.
Plus with such a major pull for the new Princess Collections I noticed Hello Kitty was left to the curb.
But fear not! A new collection is here for the Spring Season and it takes on new, edge-y packaging that resembles more MAC Hello Kitty versus the sweet, pink Hello Kitty we all know and love.
Take a peek!
I’m unsure when Hello Kitty Beauty’s contract ends with Sephora but could be soon as they now have Hello Kitty Beauty Makeup Collections available for Spring 2013.
The thing is, when you start packaging up old favorites and offering them at an extra discount this is kinda a hint that perhaps a packaging revamp is on the way OR they aren’t planning any future collections.
With a new Princess Themed Collection on the way I imagine Sephora has some house cleaning to do and Hello Kitty had a good, long run…but I could be wrong.
Either way you get to haul some great deals with these new makeup sets!
Loves me the Hello Kitty Wild Thing Comb ($12)! This was launched with the Hello Kitty Holiday 2012 Collection at Sephora and after sampling one for myself I quickly ordered one for my sister too.
I’m one for using a wide tooth comb in the shower to comb conditioner through my hair…so why can’t that comb be cute as well as practical right?
Hello Kitty Say Hello Eyeshadow Palette in Wild Thing is the latest palette Sephora has launched in the Hello Kitty Beauty Collection. Although a Holiday release the shades scream Fall to me.
I’ve had my downfalls with the Hello Kitty Say Hello Eyeshadow Palettes. Some are are ok, most are frosty, some have odd color pair ups…they do share one common trait, the very cute packaging. Sometimes cute packaging can get repetitive though and we really just want good makeup. Wait, what am I saying? Cute packaging is EVERYTHING!
With a brown leopard print and shiny bronze metallic bow this palette oozes cuteness but are the contents just as great?
