Our girl Josie has a brand new Argan concealer available at Sephora. I seen it a few days ago but sadly didn’t haul it since I wanted to read more online. Much to my shock it isn’t on Sephora’s site, whoa, wait, why?
Anyone see it in store yet?
It consists of one darker shade and one lighter for mixing and matching your perfect concealer shade. It felt more like a face palette concealer than an under eye one which is another reason I didn’t indulge but who knows, I may just go ahead and try it anyway!
Also popping up my must have of the moment, the Josie Maran Argan Eye Love You Too Palette. I think I needs it!
I was quite excited to check out the new Josie Maran Argan Firming Day and Night Eye Cream which launched exclusively on QVC recently. I haven’t yet seen it anywhere else aside from QVC. I kinda dig how QVC gets all these new products and exclusives first lately.
There are any number of things that I find appealing about this eye cream one of which was the twist top design that houses not one but two eye creams, one for evening and one for day.
I’ve used it nearing a month now and here are my thoughts!
Josie Maran channeling Mally today with her new Full Coverage Concealer Pen and Setting Powder. If you remember Mally had created a similar style product a few months ago which I tried and wasn’t particularly keen on. Josie’s version is a cream however Mally’s was a stick concealer with a setting powder in a similar style.
Curious minds about Josie’s version for sure since it’s infused with Argan Oil which could make it all kinds of hydrating eh?
At a 1.5 oz size and $42 my tinted moisturizer of choice from Laura Mercier is pretty costly. Better deal?
The new Josie Maran Tinted Moisturizer at 1.7 oz, $38, and oh by the way an SPF 30 instead of Laura’s 20.
I do think the idea of “color” matching foundation formulas sounds cool but end up making us laugh a little. Foundation that magically turns into our perfect shade? Mmm always skeptical when it comes to these product eh? Almay does one as does a few other companies. In some cases they can work if they actually match your skin tone however in most cases, let’s be honest, they prob aren’t that perfect match we are seeking. Considering blushes and lipsticks also embrace this technology and fail at it, is it really any wonder that foundations can’t cut it either?
Josie Maran Matchmaker Argan Serum Foundation is the newest product to embrace this “technology” with a breakthrough color match technology that supposedly reads and instantly adjusts to match to your skin tone for your own unique shade of foundation!
Does it work?
