Marzipan a strange and unusual cake topper in some areas of the world and in others, an art form….
Seriously, have you seen what people create using marzipan? It’s down right strange.
Within the US I don’t think we embrace marzipan as fully as the rest of the world does. We commonly use it to decorate the tops of cakes on occasion but it’s not something we pop into our mouth for the sake of enjoying it. Some might compare it to Turkish Delight but I wouldn’t go so far as I think it’s positively a gross texture and not nearly as delightful as Turkish Delight.
Mind you my dislike of marzipan extends to the actual candy but not to the wonderful things that Lush Cosmetics creates using its scent.
Once a year, during the Holiday season, Lush releases a wonderful soap entitled Snowcake. Some of you are already obsessed with said soap while others may recognize the name from my past obsessive musings….It is truly a gift from the gods above. Snowcake has a creamy almond scent that Lush dubs as the scent of marzipan. If marzipan smelled nearly this great, I’d be eating it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner yo.
I take care of my face and my neck and my hands and my legs and my elbows and my knees….I’m all about hydrating myself until I can glide across the floor when I walk but I’ve never considered moisturizing my breasts.
You know I’m all about breaking into song at the moment. Workin’ 9 to 5 what a way to make a livin’….but chances are most of you are too young to remember the song or the movie but at least you can take advantage of the cleanser.
Lush 9 to 5 Cleansing Lotion should be popping up shortly online for your purchasing pleasure and is available now at Lush locations.
I told you about this smart little cleanser a few months ago when it launched in the UK but here’s your chance to get all the low down, dirty deets about what I think!
Ahhhh B Never lovers and Lush ones too, rejoice! Gorilla Perfume has officially launched.
As I blogger I tend to test WAY too much makeup, skincare, fragrance, and beauty bits and bobs. One thing I never did get into testing was skincare. For a very long time, I avoided trying out new lotions and potions because I always blamed my great skin on Lush Cosmetics and was quite happy with my skincare regime from them.
About a year and a half into my adventures on Musings I started to testing way too much skincare from various brands. I was switching up my moisturizer, my toner, and just about everything else. I dunno what prompted me to cheat on Lush when I was so very die hard, faithful to them for such a long time……
Last month I realized that I needed to embraced my Lush again because my skin just wasn’t looking as great as it did when I was using it. Dullness, oily forehead, and even tiny break outs on my jaw line were some of the problems I had been experiencing after leaving my beloved Lush behind.
Although I’ve shared with you my secrets of Lush in the past, I’ve never really sat down and reviewed the items I’ve spoken about in past posts and I think that needs to be changed right now.
Because everyone should about the joys of great skin care.
