MAC Retro Matte returns for the Fall season with a new permanent Retro Matte Lipstick collection available in eight shades starting September 12th. I don’t love matte finish lipstick by any means but I can understand and appreciate why people fall so hard for the Retro Matte formula. It’s a very soft, creamy texture that really wears strong.

The MAC Antonio Lopez Face/Coral Palette ($46) is one of two new limited edition facial compacts that contains bronzer, blush, and highlighter. This collection is in collaboration with Illustrator, Antonio Lopez and will launch September 12th at MAC locations.
This style compact isn’t really new to MAC so I did find it a little uneventful however, the contents are quite lovely.

The MAC Antonio Lopez 3 Lips/Red Palette ($27.50) is one of three new limited edition lipstick palettes that MAC will introduce on September 12th. I don’t particularly love lipstick palettes as I prefer a more traditional swivel up and apply from the tube application when it comes to my lippies. Something about a lip brush makes me curl my nose up and turn away.
However, I must admit I have my own little stash of lip palettes from MAC that I’ve grown to love and this MAC Antonio Lopez 3 Lips/Red Palette would be one.
The MAC Antonio Lopez Mirror is a new accessory launching in the MAC Antonio Lopez Collection which is a collaborated collection with fashion visionary, Antonio Lopez who is know for his illustrations. Antonio’s designs quite remind me of artist Patrick Nagel’s legendary cover design for Duran Duran’s Rio album.
