Don’t murder me but my MAC Marilyn Monroe Eyeshadows Review is sadly slow coming considering the collection is weeks old now. I guess I wasn’t inspired to write my review since the collection really didn’t do it for me. I just wasn’t phased by the entire release…it simply didn’t feel special enough for me.
And the shadows are proof positive why I didn’t like it.
If you’re all about the sparkle you’ll enjoy the two limited edition Dazzleglasses released with the MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection.
I think the only thing special about these is the Marilyn packaging. You might want to take that into consideration prior to dishing out $21.50 for each one as really, there are SO many Holiday Lipgloss Sets available out there which will get you some very nice glosses at less the purchase of these two Dazzleglasses.

The MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection has launched online and will be available this Thursday on counter. The collection is an ode to one of Hollywood’s most glamorous stars, Marilyn Monroe.
If MAC was going to be inspired by anyone I’d say Marilyn was a good pick to represent classic, silver screened beauty. The collection features an array of products inspired by the starlet and features her beautiful image on the packaging.
Marilyn Monroe was a very minimalist beauty queen in my eyes. Some liner, vibrant red lips, and milky skin was about the extent of her look so of course, MAC introduced four vibrant, limited edition shades of red lipstick to suit a ton of different skin tones.
I’m not a fond fan of red lipstick but I’ve come across a few that I hold on tight too. I typically look best (or I’m delusional that I look good) in warmer shades of red. I think it’s nice that the MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection has a variety of reds to choose from to suit cooler and warmer skin tones.
Let’s take a look at two of my favorite shades from the launch.
The new MAC Marilyn Monroe Collection for Fall 2012 launches very shortly.
Let’s have a look!
Today, we celebrate the MAC Holiday 2012 Collection in photos.
I don’t have official details as of yet for the launch but I came across some photos, drooled, and decided that everyone should be babbling, drooling, and squealing with me.
MAC Holiday 2012 looks like an awe aspiring selection that had me thinking retro beauty and vintage pin up girls with a little vibe of Dita Von Teese.
I see several palettes and products I have to keep my eye on.
