Mid-Range Makeup Brands
How’s the day treating you? Mine is absolute rubbish so far. I have such drama in my life right now it’s not even funny.
Anyway, a rather busy Monday as always after the weekend. Hope yours is better than mine.
I was browsing around and the Twilight Beauty website is officially launched. As of Friday they had a great round of flash going with different photos of the stars in Twilight and a few pictures of the makeup line but right now it’s back to being a simple “coming soon” logo. Damn, wish I captured a few screenshots while the going was good. On Friday the release date for the collection going live was on August 15th but now they just have a spot to slap your e-mail address so you’ll be officially alerted when it does go on sale. I’m ever hopeful that they keep the August 15th date as I’m impatient to see what the line looks like.
For further information do see my Twilight Beauty Cosmetics as it tells you more about what to expect from the line.
Keep yourself in the know by visiting the official site at www.twilightbeauty.com
I’ll bring you further coverage as it becomes available.
For now do share your thoughts on Twilight Beauty in the comment field.
I expressed my delight over the brand new Urban Decay Lipstick for Fall 2009 in Naked in a review
recently. Naked is such a flattering shade of nude pink that will pair up beautifully well with a dramatic eye look or in my case a pink look!
Jump ahead for a peep!
For my look below I used a bit of Jill Stuart blush, Bobbi Brown Sparkle Eye Shadow in Ballet, and Urban Decay Lipstick in Naked topped with a clear gloss from Philosophy. The look is fairly simple and innocent. As you can see Naked pairs up very nicely with a no nonsense, less than dramatic eye look but it’ll go along just as well with a bolder look that requires a nude lip look that won’t take away from the eyes. I’m normally not one for loving nude shades of lipstick but I fell in love with Naked almost instantly on swatch. It’s one the most flattering shades of nude pink I’ve come across and doesn’t have a mod look but more of a dewy finish that makes my lips look very natural.
By the way my fresh skin can be blamed on Skin79 BB Cream

Remember how I was telling you about how irritating it was to chase those little beads around on my face which are part of the wonderful formula that makes up H20+ Face Oasis Ultra Hydrator
? Gawd those things are a pain but I was willing to overlook them since I’ve fallen head over heals with Face Oasis as my main moisturizer the past several days.
But guess what? Score! H20+ Face Oasis has none of those annoying spheres, all the same benefits, plus a truly great formula to!

I was reading reviews that said the new Face Oasis I reviewed for you is more moisturizing than the older Face Oasis I’m about review. Personally they feel alot alike to me aside from the small spheres in Face Oasis Ultra Hydrator. One thing I did notice about this Face Oasis is it feels a bit tacky and sticky on my skin but after a minute it abides.
H20+ Face Oasis is an oil free hydrating moisturizing that’s a gel formula and supposedly reduces the appearances of fine lines and wrinkles. I’m only using it today so I can’t speak for long term results. I will say I’m loving this and the Face Oasis Ultra Hydrator so much because of the way it revitalizes my dry skin without making it an oily mess. The formula is so light and absorbs so easily into my skin leaving behind a dewy finish. Fabulous stuff. If you have dry I seriously urge you to see if you can get a sample. I also think the formula is rather ideal for oily skin as well since it’s so light.
Overall, I’m deeply impressed with H20+ lately and I’m thinking this could possibly make me switch from my regular Lush day and night cream.
H20+ Face Oasis gets a Muse Approval for making my dull, dry skin, dewy and fresh again! Feels just like a cup of cold water for my face. Many moisturizers I’ve tried in the pass say they are oil free but I always end up feeling greasy after not the case with this which makes it a gem among moisturizers.
