Hmmmm the Muse came across some interesting sales on Sephora today! Seems Sephora is axing Pop Beauty and Vincent Longo from the line up and slashing prices on LE Holiday goodies across the line!

And here we are with another sale……

Nothing is sacred this year and virtually everything, including luxury gifts, are getting the axe and experiencing an abnormal price cut! A reader mentioned that MAC in the UK is even having a sale…makeup sale in Europe? Unheard of!

Sephora appears to be doing it’s normal house cleaning by placing Pop Beauty and Vincent Longo on sale however they are also slashing prices on many, many gift sets! This is highly unusual and leads me to believe that the items simply didn’t sell well this year and they have to get rid of them somehow. Right now it’s 7 pages give or take a few pages for items that were already on sale such as Bourjois Paris and Sugar Cosmetics however I’m seeing big name brands on the sale list such as Stila, Urban Decay, even Fresh!

I’m curious what will happen as Christmas comes nearer and in fact passes for that matter. I’m guessing we are in for some serious discounts after the Holiday. We’ve seen some great sales this season but I think we are in for some SERIOUS sales come the New Year! Who knows this year you may see them giving away items for free during the semi-annuals! At this rate we are all going to need extra storage to stash away our ridiculous hauls.

The Muse doesn’t drink. A majority of most alcoholic beverages kinda taste like nail polish remover to her so she avoids liquor like the plague plus the Muse drunk is always a rather silly sight and we all know the Muse is SO not silly! Seriously now! So indeed she does avoid alcohol like the plague and sticks to her drink of choice, tea.

What’s that? How do I know what nail polish remover tastes like anyway? Well duh! Obviously all cosmetic junkies know what it taste like! Stop asking dumb questions.

On the bright side the Muse does fancy an occasionally flute of bubbly and berries. Champagne and Strawberries were meant for each other.

You know last year the Muse happened to fall in love with Philosophy Bubbly Three in One Shower Gel and although it didn’t contain the berry it sure did bring the Bubbly! Sparkling, crisp, and beautiful were simply some of the things that were pure perfection about Philosophy Bubbly.

Philosophy decided to step up it’s game this year and created the next best thing to Bubbly….How about Philosophy Berry Bubbly! The Muse thinks nothing goes better than Strawberries and Champagne so how about Philosophy Berries and Bubbly…Mmmmmmmm sounds like a master plan to this Muse!

Although I love Philosophy Bubbly with a passion I must say that a little something extra special is contained inside Philosophy Berry Bubbly and it tops off an already great recipe and makes it pure perfection.

Philosophy Berry Bubbly starts with a fresh, sparkling, effervescent citrus base which tickles the nose. This is quickly followed up by the faint scent of sweet strawberry which combines beautifully with the sparkle of citrus to create a true to life Champagne and Strawberry scent that’s pure and fresh! Philosophy deserves a major award for creating a perfectly sparkling experience with Berry Bubbly!

Please don’t think that the scent is reminiscent of any blend of champagne and strawberry you’ve tried before because it’s completely different and unique! It’s has a certain sweetness with a full on citrus body that can simply be called sparkling! Philosophy managed to capture the “bubbly” effervescent of champagne and put it in a bottle!

Philosophy Berry Bubbly can be used in your shower, in your bath tub, or wash your hair with it! It’s three in one you see!

The Muse nabbed her bottle of Philosophy Berry Bubbly from QVC and believes as of now it’s exclusive to them however like last year I’m pretty sure you’ll see it pop up on Sephora, just renamed and repackaged!

It’s today people! Sephora Friends and Family starts today with a whopping 20% off your entire order! I always look forward to this time of year since it’s a fab time to try out new makeup, stock up on staple items, purchase gifts for friends and family, and of course indulge my own sweet tooth for more makeup! After all we all know the Muse can never have too much makeup!

For a while there I was worried about whether Sephora Friends and Family was going to actually happen but thankfully soon after we got good news and today we are ready to shop till we drop hopefully!

I can’t speak for this year but I did use the code three times last year when I forgot to purchase various items that didn’t end up on my wish list, or I seen something else that caught my interest, or I ended up grabbing a few items for friends, and so on and so forth! This year I’m hopeful I can do the same thing just in case I forget an item or want to go back for second helpings however I’ve prepared myself just in case I can’t and I thought I’d share some of the items I think you should be considering or things that you may already have on your wish list or things you might want to quickly write down since your Muse loves ‘em and we all know what the Muse loves is probably awesome…right? Am I putting too much importance on how uber fabulous I am there? Probably but my ego knows no bounds!

Holy Christmas Batman!

I said it before, I’ll say it again, it’s way too bloody early for me to be talking about Holiday and Winter Collections!

Sad sigh!

I want to just enjoy the Fall season a little while longer! Ow well if you’re feeling a bit Christmas-like this beautiful Fall afternoon you might want to head over to QVC and type in item number A86813 and lay your eyes on this:

Tis Philosophy’s Snowman 3 in 1 Shower Gel! We had the Milk Man, we had the Ice Cream Man, we had the Gingerbread Man…lord knows Philosophy is running out of men to give us! Now they are gifting us with The Snowman!

This is the super-size, 32oz, available exclusively from QVC for $22.49 USD. I personally haven’t seen this little guy anywhere else and it’s possible we may not see him anywhere else for a while!

So if you want him, you’ll have to head over to QVC to nab him!

I’m not sure I’ll purchase him as the reviews I’ve read seem to say he may spell like Philosophy The Gingerbread Man even though his description reads that he’s fresh and frosty!

Hmmm remains to be seen I guess!

Is it me or is Halloween thee best holiday evers? Halloween for me is what Christmas must be to the rest of the population! I simply adore it!

It’s not everyday I run across many products in the cosmetic world that have a Halloween theme! So, of course, I’m super excited about the Philosophy Haunted House Gift Set which includes three great shower gels!

I’m possibly the only one that totally digs the cute little skeleton hand creeping up from the dirt! Ahh so cute and creepy!

When I opened the box it was like pure childhood! All the smells combined created this spicy, warm Fall scent that really put me in the mood for the colder weather ahead!

MuseTV Presents: Philosophy Haunted House Review

The kit includes three, 3-1 shower gels in various Halloween and Fall themed scents. You’ll get Pumpkin Spice, Black Licorice, and Caramel Apple. Philosophy has gotten particularly better as of late with the scents of it’s newer shower gels and I’m particularly pleased with these three. Pumpkin Spice combines that warm, spicy pumpkin scent that makes you feel all cozy inside, Black Licorice is spot on and my favorite of the bunch, and Caramel Apple is a beautiful cocktail of sugary caramel and tart apple! My stomach is growling already! I may tip the bottle into my mouth at this point.

I’ve reviewed Philosophy Shower Gels prior to this but I will remind you that they are brilliant multitaskers which allow you to use them as a shower gel, shampoo, and a bubble bath too! They sud up wonderfully well and offer a guilt free shower experience minus the calories of actually eating all those Halloween treats!
