Sephora Brand Shadow Shields

The Muse is all about easy clean up when it comes to fall out.  I have a serious problem with fall out.  Ugh. I’ve taken to wrapping a finger in scotch tape and using it to pick up any glittery bits and bobs but occasionally I do run out of the house with all sorts of wack on my face. Shrug. Oh wells.

Anyway.

Over a year ago I discovered and reviewed for you life saving Shadow Shields. My god these so changed the way I did makeup. They are basically a thin cotton pad cut in a half moon shape with a stick back. You stick this under your eye and it easily captures your shadow fall out for easy clean up. Loves it!

Now get this.

Sephora has shadow shields! ha!

Yup, yup now you can get ‘em at Sephora. Interesting right?

I do suggest getting them directly from Shadow Shields though as you get 30 for $9.99 where as the Sephora Brand are 30 for $16. But hey I think it’s awesome that Sephora has ‘em now since it’s easy enough to hop in store and snag some when I run low rather than waiting on shipping.

Anyone a Shadow Shield user?

How do you battle fall out woe?

Sephora Fame Lip Gloss

Oh my little eye spies something that shall grace a clearance bin near you soon!

Check it, FAME lipgloss!

Sephora Fame Lip Gloss 1

Call me terrible but I’m taking bets that Fame will bomb at the theater. I remember seeing the preview for it when I went to see Harry Potter (another bomb of a movie) with friends and thinking, “oh noes” my thoughts were quickly followed up by my mate Martin saying in a rather loud voice, “Oh my god that looks SOOO good!” Moral of the story is that his sarcasm was so thick people in the theater cracked up after his little statement. Guess I’m not the only one that feels it’s a miss.

Thank god it’s only a gloss….I’d have to worry about NOT wanting to live forever if they decided to milk the cash cow and create an entire line of makeup for the movie.

Shuddering in fear just thinking about it.

But if by chance you’re wanting to punish yourself you can snag Sephora Fame Lip Gloss in 5 shades for $10 bucks each.

As for the Muse, she’ll wait until it hits the sale bin (or not).

As Seen by the Muse: Sephora Blockbuster Palette 2009

As Seen by the Muse 1

Yes, well, we all know I’m not too terribly keen on Sephora palettes….sorry just can’t get on board with ‘em. But as seen by this Muse the new Sephora Blockbuster Palette for 2009 on the Sephora Blog. The Muse was thinking you you might like to see it for yourself.

Sephora won the Allure Best All Over Palette Award for it and promises its bigger and badder than prior releases (still looks like a bunch of cheap makeup to me, love ya Sephora just don’t love your palettes).

Sephora Blockbuster Palette 2009 1

Looks pretty loaded from these photos plus they included a slew of eye liners too….or at least that’s what those pencils look like. I’m looking forward to seeing the actual design of the compact itself which will probably play an important role in this year’s Holiday theme.

What do you think?

Tell the Muse!
