Sephora Makeup Academy Blockbuster Palette ($49.50) is Sephora’s traditional Holiday monster palette that features 130 different products for eyes, lips, and cheeks! Concealer, eyeshadow, blush, lipgloss, lipstick, you name it and this monster palette has it.
Now I admit my first intro to the Sephora Makeup Academy Blockbuster was in August when Sephora had a preview launch for it. I didn’t indulge but seeing the promo images I thought it was a bit bulky and a bit too much. But it’s actually a bit smaller than you think and the contents are a whole hecka of a lot better than I had imagined.
The best part about Sephora’s VIB Event is you can also take an additional 20% off products that are already on sale! So it’s like getting 50% or more off a product! And there are some rather great ones at the moment on sale.
I have a confession to make I collect Sephora boxes and packaging…! And the Sephora Holiday 2013 Gift Boxes & Packaging are out now in stores so I’m kinda excited plus they did a cute little video featuring the new packaging aw!
I have boxes from nearly every Holiday year for ten years now. I store tarts, makeup, and other bits and bobs in them. Remember the year they were a light blue and they had crystal snowflake ornaments and a blue ribbon tie? Or of course, the traditional black Sephora boxes?
I remember when packaging was free (not sure about this year for the Holidays) but Sephora has since started charging for boxes and bags online le sigh!
Needless to say the new Holiday Giftopia packaging is really cute!
What do you think?
P.S. I also collect those damn compact mirrors they give you with the gift cards….! I got issues.
We all know I look rubbish in metallics but I haven’t technically admitted that to myself so I do go after anything metallic and this new (and cheap, $13 bucks!) Sephora Metallic Glow Lustrous Lip Shine will probably fall accidentally into my cart sooner rather than later.
