I spent the better part, no joke, of an hour trying to pop open the new Sephora Double Contouring Cream Blush. I could not get it open for the life of me. It started with, oh cool new blush but progressed to me on the floor with the compact in my mouth with my teeth around it trying to get it open.
I tried everything but couldn’t get it open. I even wriggled a little screw driver under the lid and still nada.
The top part (lid of the compact) is made of plastic but the bottom well is rubber. This design should have clicked with me and I should have realized it opened the same way Urban Decay Star Dust doh!
So don’t make the same as I made. Just squeeze the sides of the rubber bottom and the lid will flip open automatically. Don’t say I didn’t warn you as I don’t want to catch you with a scissor, knife, or screw driver trying to wriggle it open or worst with your teeth!
Imma tell you, I just recently (maybe the past five years or so) got my sister to stop using body cream on her face. Seriously. Really. Honest truth.
I won’t tell you her age but she looks blooming incredible you’d probably never guess how old she was. Maybe that body cream was working…!
Obviously she and Sephora know something I don’t because they both highly suggest body cream for your face.
Good news if you’re in India! Sephora is set to open in India soon.
Sephora stores are expected to open in India later this in 2012.
With luxury brands growing as much as 22% in 2010 and sales showing strong growth almost every year this might prove a profitable move for Sephora.
Sephora recently launched in Mexico as well.
Are you India?
