Prepare yourself for playing a little mad scientist with the new Stila Perfect & Correct Foundation, my geeky good nature Muse Approves the helix design . Stila takes it’s popular helix design that you may remember from its One Step Bronze and One Step Correct Primer and uses it for it’s new Perfect & Correct Foundation.

The Stila Garden Bliss All Over Shimmer Powder that I blogged about a few weeks ago has went live on Stila’s site.
The palette is inspired by fresh flowers and features a floral design. The powder acts as a complexion enhancer leaving a radiant, luminous flush on eyes, cheeks, or décolleté.
Each palette is unique, as the technology used to create the design individually fills each palette and etches the flowers on the powder.
Features of the powder:
- Enhances the complexion with fresh, radiant glow
- Special soft focus complex hides skin imperfections
- Micro-fine pigment and pearl adhere to the skin, lasting all day
- All-over-glow powder can be used on the eyes, cheeks, face and décolleté
I probably won’t indulge but because I tend to over do it with powders like this but it’s so pretty I’m having a hard time resisting!

Stila takes its one One Step Correct Primer and lends it to their new One Step Bronze.
The triple-swirled helix serum instantly offers foolproof bronzer that illuminates, bronzes, primes, and nourishes your skin. It not only gives skin a sunkissed look but promises to act as a primer to give your face a flawless appearance while blurring the looks of fine lines and wrinkles.
The design features three shades in one formula so you’re getting a matte bronze with a coppery undertone, a bronze-y pink, and Kitten which brightens and illuminates your face.
This primer, illuminating, bronzing, color correcting skincare serum contains Stila’s Youth Revival Bio-Available Mineral Complex that supposedly:
- Reduces imperfections
- Improves skin texture
- Diminishes the look of fine lines & wrinkles
- Minimizes pores
- Hydrates, balances and nourishes the skin
- Controls oil production
Sounds sort of like SUPER bronzer! Here I come to save the day!
I’m not much for bronzers so this might prove a skip but if you need it you can get it as a pre-sale for $36 from www.stilacosmetics.com

Ahh the Stila Garden Bliss Collection. Introduced late last month this was a special preview selection from Stila which is gone from their site now but still available from HSN if you absolutely can’t wait to buy it after hearing this review (Update, I wrote this post last week and the kit is now back on Stila’s website).
The set includes lipglaze, mascara, a bag, and the Stila Garden Bliss Palette aka what I’ve dubbed, “Another Travel Girl Palette…”
Let’s check it out!

Remind me again I don’t need more shimmery powders?
HSN Beauty scopes the new Stila Garden Bliss Collection with the new Stila Garden Bliss All Over Shimmer Powder. This appears to be a pretty shade of peach beige. The palette is inspired by fresh flowers and has a floral embossed design on the powder.
I already ordered the Stila Garden Bliss Gift Set and now I’m kinda wanting the powder as well but I’m reminding myself that I simply don’t need another shimmery powder.
Say it with me now, “We do not need more shimmery powders…”
Now if we can only make ourselves believe it…..hmm!
Available now at beauty.hsn.com

Ahh new season, new Stila Lip Crush. I think we are heading onto our seventh generation of the product now. So that’s seven shades you can select from yay!
I think they should gather them all up, package them together, and slap a ribbon on ‘em for Holiday 2011 eh? I like ‘em so much I’d totally buy a complete set.
The newest generation is the Stila Coconut Crush Lip & Cheek Stain. Since we tackled every other fruit, coconut sounds like a good one to try out next!

Thanks to everyone who spread the love about the Stila E! Red Carpet Ready Eye Shadow Palette. My original post was a rant regarding the palette being included in a train case kit I seriously didn’t want to indulge in!
However, many of you responded to say that it was at Ulta. Thanks guys!
If you’re lemming it the palette is available at Ulta and features four shades of nude, neutral browns which look rather pleasing.
But…
Psstt….I’m kinda not loving the $20 price tag! Ouchie! Considering the Red Carpet Palettes are $25 and contain a whole hell of alot more can you blame me?
Snatch it up at www.Ulta.com
Will you indulge?

Dear Stila,
Why are you trying to alienate me by including your new Red Carpet Ready Palette in your Makeup Player?
Do not want your Makeup Player but do want your Red Carpet Ready Palette.
Come on!

Stila has successfully redeemed themselves with the new E! Live from the Red Carpet Palettes. If you get felt like some of their recent ten buck offerings haven’t really reflected well on the brand, no worries, these new palettes bring the game back to a fair playing level. I recently tried out the Glamour Goddess Palette and fell in love!
This week I decided to dig out the new Stila Stunning Starlet Palette out for a try out to see if it would be love too!

Please do not buy us “guess what’s inside me” chocolates. We do not want to have to sit and bite into each piece playing a game of seek and find with really gross filling trying to find one we like. DO NOT WANT these types of chocolates.
Please do not buy us liquid, cream, or cherry cordial-like chocolates. Anything that squirts in our mouth when we bite into it just reminds us of Fear Factor, please don’t do this to us k? DO NOT WANT surprise juicy filling!
Please do not buy us cheap teddy bears or stuffed animals that sound like they make strange jingle, jangle noises when we move or shake them. We are scared to find out what the bear is stuffed with! DO NOT WANT bears stuffed with questionable stuffing.
Please do not buy us jewelry that’s gold-nique aka just as nice as gold but NOT really gold. DO NOT WANT fake jewelry you purchased on an end cap at Macy’s, this doesn’t count or gain you points.
We do want fabulous beauty gifts….!

As far as I’m concerned Stila Make Me Blush is the hottest and cheapest product of the season! At $14 this sweet little blush has it all. Think cute heart design, think inexpensive price tag, think pigmented formula, think brilliance on a stick.
Yup, this blusher has it all! Plus I’m hearing tales of sell outs on both Sephora and Stila’s website eep! Since writing about it a week or so ago it’s since disappeared but no worries, it’s back in stock now!
I feel a Muse Approved coming on!

Stila has two brand new primers available for Spring 2011 called Prime Pot. Taking a quick glance at ‘em you’ll instantly think, “oh Stila Smudge Pots!” That’s at least the first thing that entered my head when I seen ‘em!
These come in two shades so you have a choice for lighter or darker depending on your skin type since they aren’t only working as a primer but also as a lid concealer of sorts a la Benefit Lemon Aid. I’m personally a die harder when it comes to Lemon Aid however I like to dabble around with various products to see what works better.
Let’s have a peek at Stila Prime Pots and see what the good word is!
