Morning, afternoon, hello….
What time is it anyway?
It’s all running together today. Phew! How’s your Monday treating you?
We seriously need something to wake us up today and clear off the cob webs from the weekend. The best way to do that? Drool over the new Stila Eye Color Palette for Holiday 2010 that will be available for sale on HSN starting in October.
Several weeks ago Eva Chen tweeted a photo of some of the Stila Holiday 2010 goodies we could expect soon from the brand. Fast forward to the present and Bella Sugar Australia is flashing around a very pretty photo of the Stila Stars in Your Eyes Palette which looks similar to Holiday 2010′s palette but with more natural shades of color.
Yes, please, I’ll take it!
Gather round silicone primer hates and rejoice in the new Stila One Step Correct Primer. It might look like a DNA sample but it’s actually a silicone-free primer, color corrector, brightener, and anti-aging skincare serum all in one wonder.
God, I love makeup so hard that promises me the universe. It might not deliver but I eat it up like candy and completely buy into anything they tell me.
Ahhhh pink. For a long time it was my signature shade of choice. Pink always gives my cheeks a youthful glow so I’m all over it like white on rice. The Stila Fall Collection 2010 has released and it’s all about that perfect shade of color for cheeks.
Now, I don’t really commonly associate the shade of pink with Fall but I can’t deny that I’m really loving hard on the Stila Custom Color Blush.

I can’t believe Summer is almost over. In some ways it lasted for ages and in others it feels like it flew by. Did you enjoy your Summer so far? Do anything special?
As Summer draws to a close, I’ll be reviewing the last of the Summer items I have stashed away and start to concentrate more on Fall and Holiday 2010. It’s quite an exciting time as I simply adore Holiday Collections!
Until we get deeper into Fall and Holiday we might as well enjoy the last days of Summer the best we can right? Here are some great posts from Summer 2010 that you may have missed!
NARS Skin Smoothing Face Prep released this Summer and it wasn’t exactly what I had hoped it would be. Some people loved it, alot of people hated it, and I gotta admit mine fell deep into the Makeup Graveyard!
MAC’s Marine Life Powder is still sitting untouched in my beauty vault, right next to Stereo Rose. It was Summer’s must have item and a hot commodity at MAC counters who got as little as five compacts in stock! Beauty junkies who scored it, struck gold, literally!
I had my Summer crush on the new Stila Raspberry Lip and Cheek Lip Stain!
Hard Candy had a really late Spring release, that turned more into a Summer one for me and one thing that happened to be a must have item was the new Hard Candy Moon Glow, loved it!
Too Faced Lip Insurance Lip Primer turned into a solid gold beauty product as it held my gloss on tight all day long!
The Bath and Body Works Summer Vanillas are still haunting stores after an early Summer release and all these months later!
Lancome took me right to the Riviera with their Summer 2010 Collection!
I was almost a cave dweller with Gloss Fluo De Chanel Brilliant Lip Shine as my guiding light!
The Target Look Book for Spring and Summer 2010 enthralled many of us!
Make Up For Ever Aqua Creams made a major splash with many of us!
I’m still not sure which I loved more this Summer, Lorac’s Hollywood Hot List…..
Or Lorac’s Little Black Palette….!
Wet n Wild ColorIcon Collection was the bestest beauty budget purchase evers!
I loved it so much I decided to convince everyone they NEEDED the DuWop Flight Stick!
Avon’s Sunset Glow Bronzer wasn’t only beautiful, it was an affordable Summer makeup find as well!
Essence Surfer Babe Collection hit Ulta as the first limited edition collection from the brand within the US and boy are we so hopeful it won’t be the last!
Urban Decay Urban Defense defended my Summer skin against the sun and made it look super flawless!
Too bad Stila’s Pro Artist Palette was such a snore!
I hit the Beach Club with Bobbi Brown!
Maybelline created some sizzling Salsa Sun Lipsticks!
These are just some of the happenings on Musings this Summer. Check the archives for more!
And feel free to comment about makeup or beauty finds that stood out for YOU this Summer!
Anything you missed?
Ok, so, most of us agree that the new Stila Travel Palettes are all about the cuteness and the price but not necessarily the contents. I was a wee disappointed in the USA palette and honestly the upcoming Tokyo one is doing nothing for me either.
However, Stila Pretty in Paris….
You need it!
Ok, let me tell you, I so wish I was a California gurl when the Stila Warehouse Sale is on. Once or twice a year Stila has a huge warehouse sale and invites junkies to get their fix with rock bottom prices on all their incredible makeup. Fab right? Well, fab if you’re on the west coast but if you’re stuck somewhere in between or on the east coast like me chances are you’re not overindulging your sweet tooth on fabulous Stila makeup at sweet ass prices.
Damn, life is unfair.
Before I get into a major discussion about Stila’s Warehouse sale (yes, you TOO can take advantage even if you aren’t in sunny CA) let me tell you a little sumthing, sumthing about Stila Holiday 2010. Yes, Holiday 2010, GASP! Everyone click here and proceed to throw your hands in the air and run in circles. That’s your first glimpse of what Stila has in store for us this year!
Isn’t that palette off the hook?
Yes, please, gimme!
Now about that warehouse sale…….
Oh hai, time for steals and deals.
I hate to reach into your pocket and spend more of your money but you may want to jump on board and grab the Stila Jewel Eye Shadow Palette (Review and Swatches) as it’s on sale yo! Plus the Lip Glaze Set released with this is also on sale.
And for my next trick I’ll pull a 25% Off Vincent Longo Coupon out of my hat.
Damn I’m so cool.
Mmmm after my rant on color changing lipgloss yesterday, I find it rather fitting and ironic that the Stila Fall Collection 2010 includes a “perfect shade of pink” blush. Hmmm….I’m feeling suddenly very deja vu-ish (is that a word? No? Well count it as one now!).
