Good Morning World!

How is everyone today? Gawd, long weekend makes for a lazy Monday morning, I can barely keep my eyes open. I hope everyone had a super Holiday and got all the pressies they asked Santa for! I had a brilliant one and got loaded up with some nice gifts from friends and fam!

Although Monday is by all means blue for me, please can it be overs already so I can go home, I still feel a bit happy after seeing the new Stila Spring Collection 2010 on Sephora.

God, I’m kinda hopeful that Stila will do a warehouse sale online again this year. If you’re lucky enough to be in California you could have hauled yourself some Stila hard at their annual warehouse sale recently but if you’re not…well you can either sob yourself silly or hit up Jet Blue for cheap tickets to CA.

Me?

I just sobbed myself silly.

Hey chicas!

What’s news today? My Tuesday is flowing along quite nicely today. I just got some nice news about a review I did which will be popping up somewhere shortly, kinda chuffed properly about that. Aside from that it’s the normal hum-drum Tuesday! Can’t wait for T-Day so I can stuff myself full of turkey…ok that was so a lie…I HATE turkey haha but I’ll dig into everything else thanks very much.

I was planning to do my Gift Guides after Thanksgiving actually but more and more people have e-mailed asking after them so I figure this means everyone is in full gift getting mode.

Today I’m covering cheap Christmas gifts. This is my guide to getting some great steals and deals on makeup, skincare, and more, all with really lower price tags so you can have a little spare change after the Holidays to indulge in all those semi-annual sales!

Stila has a total masterpiece of a foundation on their hands with the new Stila One Step Makeup Foundation. I love this stuff! It’s been a while since I’ve used a US brand foundation and I did expect to be disappointed, US brands just don’t cut it for me anymore, but I got ever so delighted with this stuff. Incredible.

The Muse normally doesn’t do battle between three different products but today is a little bit of a special day.   I’ve decided to face off MAC Lipglass against Stila Lipglaze and added in some Korres Cherry Lipgloss for the ride!

The Muse happens to love all three equally but one has to be the gloss that rules them all.  There is only one winner in this beauty battle of the glosses.

The Stila Summer Collection 2009 did not get as much publicity as it should have due to problems that cropped up for Stila this season.   As you know Stila did have some downtime due to economy reasons and the likes but was pulled back from the edge thankfully.   During this time I did feel like the Indian Summer Collection didn’t get the credit it richly deserved as it’s one of my favorite releases to date.

This is why I’m ever so pleased that Stila bundled up some of Summer and slapped it into a gift set for Holiday 2009.
