Although I was already a Stila fan girl at the time of it’s release I still have flashbacks of my intro to Stila whenever I smell Creme Bouquet. At the time of the Stila Creme Bouquet Fragrance release I was still a bit of a Stila virgin. I think my first collection from the brand was the Picnic in the Park one….does anyone remember that release? CLICK!
About two years later or perhaps a bit more Creme Bouquet was released along with Jade Blossom. And, please, correct me if I’m wrong wasn’t there a third fragrance as well? The trio, as I recall, was meant to be layered together to create different blends and that was actually how it was marketed. Needless to say I loved these fragrances and was ever so happy when Stila recently brought back to full size of Creme Bouquet but I stand by my right to say it’s a damn shame they didn’t bring back the other two.
The next Stila Beach Girl Palette is available!
Stila Striking in South Beach is all about Zoe and her trip to the beach! This palette concentrates on blues so I’m not sure if I’ll love it but my obsessive compulsive beauty disease demands I buy it so I have a complete set of the Beach Girl Palettes!
The palette is $14 and includes:
Four Eye Shadows:
- Ocean Drive
The palette also features a mirror and a face chart. The palettes are $4 more this year compared to last year’s Travel Girl Palettes at $10 but you are getting more product here plus the extra packaging details (mirror and face chart). So far, my experience with the new palettes has been a yay!
If you missed my reviews you can catch up with Stila Haute in the Hamptons and Stila Stunning in Sayulita.

I imagine we can expect to see more vampy lips and smoky eyes than we can handle come the Fall. Blame it on a long, hot Summer of True Blood or perhaps it’s one of those trends that simply won’t go away but I suspect we’ll see it trending for Fall 2011.
If you prefer a more natural, nude look you can take the way back machine to this Spring and indulge the trend with the new Stila Natural Eye Shadow Palette releasing for Fall 2011.
The palette is available as a pre-sale today for a limited time in a limited quantity for Stila VIP Stars.

Thoughts on Stila One Step Prime Color? I didn’t really love it when they released them and thought Make Up For Ever landed the cream/liquid brush technique last Summer (CLICK!).
But I wouldn’t refuse them if I happened upon a sale!
