The Body Shop
The Body Ship Satsuma Body Mist ($12 Each) is one of several new scented fragrances from the Body Shop.
I haven’t been following The Body Shop closely lately so I was kinda surprised and delighted when I came across these body mists while out on a shopping date with some friends. These are available in 3.3 oz glass spritzer bottles in a range of eight scents. Most of the scents are old favorites from the Body Shop like Satsuma and Strawberry.
I commonly associate the scent of Satsuma with the Body Shop. They always have the oil burning in the store and it’s the first thing that hits you in the face when you walk in. It’s a scent that has always been readily available in the body collection but never as a fragrance.
Obviously I snatched it up immediately.
Take a look!
The Body Shop has a BB Cream available in Malaysia already but they will be launching a new All-in-One BB Cream shortly in the UK and Europe.
Good news for us as that means we’ll probably see it here in the US come Fall.
As you know Lily Cole has been selected as the first ever “face” and ambassador of the Body Shop. Lily’s been busy promoting The Body Shop’s Beauty With Heart campaign that will launch May 15th with the tag line “Look good, feel good and do good”.
Lily will also front a Cruelty Free Make-Up Collection which adheres to the brand’s firm policy against animal testing.
Take a look at the Body Shop Lily Cole Makeup Collection launching this June in the UK (I’m not sure on the US date for this collection as of yet).
Dear Body Shop,
Is everything ok?
I really liked the Honey Bronze Collection last year. It was an absolute joy of a release but how come we have to have it again this year?
Remember when you introduced cool seasonal collections that had products like the RoseFlower Blush? Or how about that awesome Smoke & Fire Collection from Fall a few years ago?
Seasons have come and gone and your makeup collections seem to be far and in between lately…and the ones you do are a little, don’t be hurt, meh!
How about we do something exciting for Summer?
Looking forward to your return to glory!
Le sigh…dontcha miss The Body Shop’s brilliant little makeup collections?
Have they been a little slow going lately in the cosmetic realm or am I the only one feeling that way?
Here’s an interesting piece of beauty news…
The Body Shop has announced Lily Cole as its first ever face for the brand.
British supermodel, Lily Cole, has been announced as the global face of The Body Shop. This is first time that the brand has aligned itself with a “face” for their company.
Lily will front the Beauty with Heart campaign in upcoming promotions which encourages Body Shop customers to look good, feel, good, and do good. With this launch, more exciting news follows in the fact that…
