Why, oh, why did I discover the Balm’s new Time Balm Peppermint Hydrating Face Cream at the end of Summer? I could have used you all Summer long to keep my skin hydrated with your lovely lightweight formula and to cool it off thanks to the refreshing burst of peppermint in the mix.
Damn.
Too late.
But we’ll be friends until the end right? Or at least until it gets cold out and I can’t use you anymore because my dry skin needs something heavier to keep it from acting all kinds of crazy.

Heads up chicas! Bit of beauty news for you….
Just a note about the Balm Muppets Palette which is supposed to launch really soon (sometime in September). The palette is limited to 1,000 pieces but no worries if you miss it and you’re not partial to the Muppets because the Balm will release a second palette for the holidays called the Balm and the Beautiful. Different packaging on this palette but all of the same lovely colors from the Muppets/Cast your Shadow Palette.
the Balm has a new palette, Meet Matt(e), which I’m sure you’ve guessed it already, has a range of matte eyeshadows.
Are you a Matt(e) girl? The palette is arranged in a rather fun way as the shadows are named after popular Matt’s…like…mmm..Matt Smith…my personal favorite Matt at the moment (‘ello, ‘ello Doctor).

I dunno how many of you are old enough to actually remember the Muppet Show but it was staple child programming when I was growing up. I loved the Muppets…well, actually, I still do.
My favorites are without a doubt the Swedish Chef, who cares you couldn’t understand a word he was saying? Camilla the Chicken, you had to wonder what she was getting into with Gonzo, ewww, shudder! And, of course, The Electric Mayhem Band because everyone in the band was awesome particular Animal and Janice, both of whom I suspect were smoking something fly.

Thanks so much to Amy who took a fab photo of her findings at TJ Maxx. Readers have been telling me all week that the Balm’s new Skincare Collection is at TJ Maxx and at Marshalls. I haven’t been to either store yet but dead curious if mine have a few offerings too….
I don’t think prices are discounted, looks like they are very close to retail, but still it’s rather cool to see such a new collection already available at discount stores hmmmm….
If you’ve seen them in your area do share your location and perhaps some pricing!

Frat Boy….
Defined as a hot college boy that plays football, and belongs to a fraternity.
Attractive?
Not to me. My taste is men runs to girly Asian boys, English men, freaky gothy guys, and geeks!
I am however attracted to the Balm’s version of a Frat Boy though! Their Frat Boy is a flush of matte pinky peach blush sans beer, football, and preppy short sleeved shirts with the collars flicked up.
I think you’ll loves it whether you’re into Frat Boys or not!
