Too Faced

The Muse reported earlier on the Too Faced Smurfette Collection and you’ll be happy to know it’s now making a starring appearance at Sephora!
If you’re wanting to re-live your youth and step back into the 80′s head on over to Sephora to nab any number of Too Faced Smurfette themed items!
The collection includes:
Too Faced Smurfette Mood Swing Emotionally Activated Lipgloss $18.50 USD
If you’re wanting to get your smurfy seductions skillz on this is the gloss you’ll want to use! Tinted a blue shade (what other color would it be?) it blossoms into the perfect shade of pink to make your kisses extra smurfy special!
Too Faced Smurfy-Eyed Liquid Eyeliner $17.50 USD
Available in two smurf approved shades this liquid liner adds a bit of smurfy sparkle to your lash line! Silver and of course Blue is available!
Too Faced So Smurfy Eye Shadow Collection $32.50 USD
This palette supposedly contains Smurfette’s favorite shades! The Muse is digging the shades whether or not Smurfette actually loves ‘em or not we’ll never really know!
Too Faced So Smurfy Illumination Face Powder $26 USD
A face powder that brightens and tones! Hmmm I don’t need much else other than the cuteness of Smurfette’s mug smiling at me from the powder! Loves it!
Whether you love it or think it’s ridiculous the Too Faced Smurfette Collection is, if anything, unique! The Muse thinks if you grew up in the 80′s you’ll simply adore it. Hey the Muse has taken beauty advice from far worst than a smurf! How bad can it be?
Love it?

Tuck a cute little something extra into your favorite makeup junkie’s stocking this season with Too Faced Glamour To Go Pocket Palette! Although it’s possibly the cutest stocking stuffer ever it would also make a fine inexpensive gift for a friend, family member, or an office Secret Santa. At $19.50 USD you can’t go wrong by hauling yourself a few of these as gifts! The palette is about the size of a credit card and contains eight eyeshadows, four lipglosses, and one blush!
The palette contains an array of lovely shadows which are nicely pigmented. Considering it has 8 shadows you can get at the least 8 looks but of course combine a few for something new! At $19.50 USD for more than eight looks it’s a steal! The palette also includes four glosses which have quite a nice metallic almost frost-like finish. The Muse felt like these weren’t too glossy however they do nicely with a bit of clear gloss on top! And finally you’ll get a brownish, natural blush. This wasn’t pigmented enough to work on it’s own and appears a tad bit muddy on my cheeks so I used it in conjunction with my own blush to add a bit more pop to my looks. It works well as almost a finishing type of powder.
The shadows range from cool to warm shades and you’ll see basic shades like green, light pink, yellow, and brown. The glosses are all pretty cool pinks aside from one golden beige shade with hints of brown and peach.
The goods come housed in a chic little palette which contain the shadows on the top part with a mirror and a pull out draw which has the four glosses and blush on the bottom half. I’m not a fan of the fact that the blush and glosses are together considering the blush powder dusts off into the glosses! Yak! Mess anyone? Aside from that I like the general idea of the palette as it’s small, easy for travel, and quick looks. You can’t get an amazing look out of the palette but you can get some very nice, fuss-free looks which are quite nice for daily day to day wear. It’s particular convenient for stashing away on trips as the airport is so very strict about the contents of one’s train case nowadays.
Here’s two separate looks I created with the palette. The first image I’m using the blush from the palette as you can see it is somewhat dull looking. I didn’t really like it and it wasn’t pigmented enough to work on it’s own.
If you’re shopping around at the moment searching for a perfect yet inexpensive beauty palette for someone I do recommend checking this little guy out! The price is appealing at under $20 bucks plus you’re getting a nice bit of product for your dollar.
The Muse thinks your stocking will look a bit brighter if you tuck a Too Faced Glamour To Go Pocket Palette in it!
Anyone try this?

Stuff your stocking with something mini this Holiday Season. Too Faced Starry-Eyed Mini Glitter Eyeliner Gift Set contains four of their popular glitter eyeliners tucked into a cute mini gift set ready for gift giving (or just keep it for yourself, you know you want it!)!
I always find it difficult getting through a full size of glitter eyeliner so this set was the ideal item to add to my stash of cosmetics. The set includes not one shade but four! Sweet! What’s not to love about getting four in one set right? I’m pretty partial to anything that contains glitter and shimmer (as if you didn’t already know) so completing my holiday looks with a bit of glitter liner is pure perfection as far as this Muse is concerned!
The set includes all of the following:
Ohh & Aah (Black & Silver)
Super Freak (Hot Pink)
Mad Mad Love (Baby Pink)
Stalkerazzi (Golden Brown)
The applicators are thin and dense for precise application of a nice straight line across the lash line leaving behind a trail of shimmering goodness! Each set comes in a pink box which sports a cute little tag in the back with To: and From: fields. The Muse’s reads: To: the Muse From: the Muse, Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas gorgeous! Teehee!
Too Faced Starry-Eyed Mini Glitter Eyeliner Gift Set is $25 USD which works out to around $6 or so per a liner! Not a bad deal considering one full size is $17.50 and that price only gets you one liner so for $25 you can have four shades! W00t! The Muse makes the idea of hauling so easy with her swift and clever mathematics doesn’t she?
The moral of this story is that I loves anything that’s mini and Too Faced Starry-Eyed Mini Glitter Eyeliner Gift Set is on my favorite list for Holiday Gift giving to you, from you!
Head on over to www.toofaced.com and check out their other mini sets then come back here and tell me which ones you’re lemming! Inquiring minds want to know!

The Smurf’s has a movie coming out soon, plus they had an appearance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade, and now you can look forward to seeing them appear in a cosmetic collection available exclusively from Too Faced on December 26th! Pictured above is the Too Faced Smurfette Mood Swing Lip Gloss which the article explains is a sparkling blue gloss that goes on blue but morphs into your individual shade of pink a la Smashbox O-Gloss! How fun! The article doesn’t say much but it looks like they are also releasing two new shades of Too Faced Starry Eyed Glitter Liner in blue and silver!
And behold…the star of the collection….Too Faced Smurfette Illuminating Powder!

It’s today people! Sephora Friends and Family starts today with a whopping 20% off your entire order! I always look forward to this time of year since it’s a fab time to try out new makeup, stock up on staple items, purchase gifts for friends and family, and of course indulge my own sweet tooth for more makeup! After all we all know the Muse can never have too much makeup!
For a while there I was worried about whether Sephora Friends and Family was going to actually happen but thankfully soon after we got good news and today we are ready to shop till we drop hopefully!
I can’t speak for this year but I did use the code three times last year when I forgot to purchase various items that didn’t end up on my wish list, or I seen something else that caught my interest, or I ended up grabbing a few items for friends, and so on and so forth! This year I’m hopeful I can do the same thing just in case I forget an item or want to go back for second helpings however I’ve prepared myself just in case I can’t and I thought I’d share some of the items I think you should be considering or things that you may already have on your wish list or things you might want to quickly write down since your Muse loves ‘em and we all know what the Muse loves is probably awesome…right? Am I putting too much importance on how uber fabulous I am there? Probably but my ego knows no bounds!
I took a few pictures and I’ve included links to reviews if I already reviewed an item here on Musings. If you need help or have a question about any of the items I mention here do shout it in my comment box as I’d love to be of service! I’d also love to hear what you’re hauling so share, share, share! Please? The Muse loves hearing about hauling as much as she loves to haul herself!
