The Muse was thinking that the night the lights went out in Georgia some chick was trying to apply mascara and failed epically. Bet she was wishing she had Too Faced Lashlight Mascara.
Now it got me thinking…what if the lights go out in New York one day soon? How will I apply mascara? What if I fail as badly as that chick in Georgia, gasp! Oh my god the drama of it all.
Yes, I think I need to a little Too Faced Lashlight Mascara, just in case, you never know. Could prove to be Y2K2 all over again!

The Muse is a geek. Prior to being a makeup junkie she is most definitely a geek which is why the techy aspect of beauty always appeals. Combining tech and makeup? That’s a total fantasyland for a geeky makeup junkie.
Which is why I’m tickled by the Too Faced Lashlight Mascara….what? I can’t help myself. It has a light dude, a light!
Remember those popular lit glosses from a few years ago? Well this has taken a note from that accept now it’s in a mascara form. Loves it.
Too Faced Lashlight Mascara is a glossy, jet black formula formula to offer thicker, longer lashes plus it has a brand new patented formula that contains millions of microscopic mirrors that bounce light off lashes for the deepest, blackest finish that lasts all day.
But of course the exclusive light-up LED wand is what got me all hot and bothered, loves it! Tis the inner nerd in me that must have this.
What do you think?
Too Faced LashLight Mascara yay or nay?
I’ve always wanted to be French and fabulous a la Marie Antonette but ado I value my head a bit too much for that glamorous life style.
Tis ok I can get my French, my fab, and my glam on with some of the Too Faced Holiday 2009 Collection.
Check it after the jump!
Well, the Muse could have predicted this one. The Too Faced Smurfette Collection is marked down 50% Off retail at Sephora. The color changing gloss seems to be long gone but the Smurfette So Smurfy Eye Shadow Collection and Smurfy-Eyed Liquid Liner is now on sale……sadly the highlighter appears to be gone as well.
If you haven’t already got your smurf on you can now at a discount price.
Go Steal It!
Urban Decay single handedly convinced me I need more nude pink shades of lipstick in my life with it’s newest color, Naked.
Suddenly, the Muse’s dreams are filled with visions of naked, nude pink shades for my lips. And than Too Faced Lip Luxury in Free Love stepped into my life….!

Oh my god dude this lipstick is champagne-infused….w00t! I’m going to party like it’s 1999 tonight. Ha!
But no seriously it really is inflused with champagne…interesting concept eh? I’ve been meaning to try Too Faced Lip Luxury for a fair while now so I’m happy to finally test it out.
It’s quite a nice lippie. Good formula with a smooth application. Very creamy and moisturizing, good pigmentation as well. It’s incredibly lightweight with a shimmering, sparkling finish.
Of course, the Muse is all about the packaging. It comes in metallic pink tube with a diamond colored rhinestone on the top of the cap. Loves it!
But after all this the very best part is the new shade for Fall entitled Free Love. It’s a sweet pale pink shade that’s incredible beautiful on lips. It’s not dramatic, it’s not bold, it’s simply a sweet pink that makes lips look fuller, prettier, and just girlish.
Now it’s not Naked by any means and the Muse does so think you need both Naked and Free Love in your beauty arsenal this season! Where as Naked is more of a perfect pale pink minus shimmer, Free Love is a sparkling nude shade that’s subtle and mod chic.
If you’re a lover of nude pink lips Too Faced Lip Luxury in Free Love will be your best girlfriend this season. Pair it up with a cat eye or a dramatic smoky!
Muse Approval for purchase.
I know quite a few of you already hauled this.
