What the world needs now is another interesting mascara that mimics L’Oreal Telescopic and Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Mascara because hey, we haven’t had enough of that already eh? Extra helpings anyone?
Ulta Lash Blowout Mascara (explosions, blowouts, damn mascara is so bloody exciting!) is $10 bucks and mimics the design of the above mentioned with a spherical tip brush that contains tiny spikes for capturing lashes, grabbing them up, and lengthening and defining each lash.
The result us dubbed a dramatic, “BLOWN OUT” lash look according to Ulta. I’ve never had my lashes blown out before so I obviously need to check this out.
How about you?
Love?
Leave?
OMG I’m so tried of these mascaras?

Valentine's Day Collections
Please do not buy us “guess what’s inside me” chocolates. We do not want to have to sit and bite into each piece playing a game of seek and find with really gross filling trying to find one we like. DO NOT WANT these types of chocolates.
Please do not buy us liquid, cream, or cherry cordial-like chocolates. Anything that squirts in our mouth when we bite into it just reminds us of Fear Factor, please don’t do this to us k? DO NOT WANT surprise juicy filling!
Please do not buy us cheap teddy bears or stuffed animals that sound like they make strange jingle, jangle noises when we move or shake them. We are scared to find out what the bear is stuffed with! DO NOT WANT bears stuffed with questionable stuffing.
Please do not buy us jewelry that’s gold-nique aka just as nice as gold but NOT really gold. DO NOT WANT fake jewelry you purchased on an end cap at Macy’s, this doesn’t count or gain you points.
We do want fabulous beauty gifts….!

Seeking last minute stocking stuffers or a friendly hostess gift for a friend? Crack out the Ulta Peppermint Swirl 3-in-1 Shower Smoothie for the win!
This Philosophy dupe (or Bath and Body Works Twisted Peppermint) can be used as a shower gel, a shampoo, or as a bubble bath and has the sweet, cool, crispy scent of candy canes swirled with vanilla. It’s a touch more minty fresh than vanilla but it does the trick perfectly if you aren’t wanting to splurge on Philosophy version or you’re just missing Bath and Body Works Twisted Peppermint aka I can’t believe they didn’t bring it back along with lambie, what the hell are they thinking? Oh sorry did I go off on a rant there?
This is a nice jumbo, 24 oz size with a squirt topper for easy squeeze-free lathering up!
Ulta always has these Smoothies available for buy 2 Two, Get Two Free so check your local Ulta to see what deals they have going at the moment. Online this will set you back a mere $8.99 so it’s a nice budget pick however in store shopping is nesscary at this point if you’re wanting a last minute pressie!
Loves it!
It’s not Philosophy but it’s the next best thing particularly for the beauty budgeters!

I’m not particularly keen on mass produced palettes from companies such as the Color Workshop, I’m sure you know the ones I mean. That’s why I’m kinda not on board with many of Ulta’s Holiday Palette offerings but I still love looking through the selection from time to time while I’m left to wish and hope that the quality is actually fantastic on a huge palette that contains everything under the moon in terms of makeup and only costs $19.99. It gives me such a warm, fuzzy feeling inside as I day dream.
But fact is I love makeup that much is true so I like looking through both the pretty and the gritty.
Here’s a selection of Ulta’s Holiday Collection 2010. Whether it’s fabulous or just day dreamed to be as such is entirely up to you but at the very least we can enjoy images of makeup right?
Are you an Ulta Holiday Palette fan? Feel free to share it loud and proud.

Taking a note from L’Oreal and Make Up For Ever, Ulta has a new Pro Line of Primers available. I’m quite curious how well they’ll perform. The line consists of several different formulas and finishes with a price range of $22. Honestly, I do think $22 is a tad high but if it works I guess we won’t mind too much eh?
Would you consider the new Ulta Pro Line Primers?
Yay or Nay?
Check ‘em!

Knowing what a snob I am when it comes to Sephora’s own makeup brand I think it’s safe to say I’d probably feel the same way about Ulta’s own line.
I’ve never tried the Ulta line before since I find I shop at Sephora considerably more plus I’ve never been tempted by the uneventful packaging.
Today I’m turning my pointed nose from up to down at the new Ulta Metallic Eyeshadow Palette, now this looks like something I can get on board with…………

Ahhh….who doesn’t like a good deal? Some of you REALLY like a good deal and in some cases aren’t interested in dishing out $15 or more on makeup. It’s ok, some of us just aren’t up for splurging on cosmetics particularly in this economy. I’m sadly of the mentality that you get what you pay for but let’s be honest here, sometimes cheap isn’t THAT bad right?
If you’re wanting cheap check out the slide show below for a few steals and deals to get your Cheap Beauty Love On!
