Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow have launched for Summer 2013 in six delightfully sparkly shades.
Moondust Eyeshadow is thee quintessential shimmer eyeshadow. These are packed with sparkle which translates as you’re either going to really, really love ‘em or really, really hate ‘em.
I eat sparkle on my cornflakes in the AM but even I can admit that these are super overkill in the shimmer department. Some folks including myself have likened them to Urban Decay’s Stardust Eyeshadow and on a certain level they are similiar. But I prefer thinking of them as a reformulated and better version of Stardust Eyeshadow.
Let’s take a look!
Ok, if you’re indulging I wanna throw it out there that De-Slick in the Tube is awesome but Urban Decay De-Slick Mattifying Powder is a more travel worthy companion if you wanna touch up on the road.
De-Slick Mattifying Powder is an old friend but she’s been repromoted for Summer 2013 and hey, that’s cool beans because if you’ve never tried her now is a good time as any to discover her benefits.
Christine just tweeted that the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Vault ($295) is up NOW at Sephora.com
How long it lasts I dunno…one could hope we could haul during Chic Week but I doubt it’ll be available for that long!
Go get it!
Ahh shimmer me impressed with the new Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadows launching for Summer 2013 very, very shortly. These kinda remind me of a revamp of Urban Decay Stardust Eyeshadow at a glance. I haven’t technically swatched or played with them yet but they appear densely packed like the Stardust formula and comparable in some ways to Bobbi Brown Sparkle Shadow.
Of course, that’s just at a glance as I haven’t played with them yet (but will be shortly, can’t resist the shimmer).

News of the Urban Decay Summer 2013 Collection launched today and with it the new Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow for the shimmer lovers. Dazzling eyeshadows with tons of sparkle? Yes please! Summer 2013 is looking good from our friends at UD.

Here’s the very limited edition Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil Vault I was showing you yesterday. GULP! Gorgeous isn’t it?
Here’s what I know about it:
- The Eyeliner Vaults were created for presentation originally but Urban Decay decided to make more for sale at the very last second.
- It’ll be $295 and available 3/26 at UrbanDecay.com
- There are 40 full size pencils in the Vault.
What I don’t now about it:
- Not sure of the colors but assuming it includes every freaking single shade and a few exclusives too! But I’m just assuming…!
- How much you ALL want it after seeing this picture, yeah, I see that drool at the corner of your mouth. Clean up, for shame! Hehe!
Will YOU haul it?

Ahh the Glinda Palette! Glinda is one of two new Urban Decay Oz inspired palettes that the brand recently launched in collaboration with the Disney film, Oz the Great and Powerful.
I recently reviewed the Theodora Palette for you and must say she’s more my speed. I love the Glinda palette but she’s a more lighter variation which will work well on paler skin tones or those with fairer hair and eyes.

Urban Decay has launched two new palettes inspired by the movie Oz the Great and Powerful. The Urban Decay Theodora Palette ($49) was a fast favorite for me as I’m a brunette who loves nude, natural shades of eyeshadow. Glinda would be most suitable for blond, blue eyed ladies. But really, do we have to choose? Most of us probably feel we can rock either palette and I’m in complete agreement.
I just seem to favor Theodora at the moment though, here are my thoughts about her.
For fair of skin and hair here’s the new Urban Decay Glinda Palette one of two new Oz the Great and Powerful inspired palettes by Urban Decay for Spring 2013. Theodora is my palette of choice but I admit Glinda is just as gorgeous with light shades of gold, lilac, and pale pink.
Take a peek!
Urban Decay The Theodora Palette is one of two new Oz the Great and Powerful inspired palettes that the brand launched today on their website. The Glinda Palette is the lighter of the two with Theodora the more natural, sultry shade selection.
I honestly can’t decide whether I’m a Glinda or a Theodora. Technically, coloring wise, I’m a Theodora..brunette, brown hair and eyes plus I love natural, sultry browns, greens, and golds which is exactly what Theo’s palette is all about. But Glinda is equally gorgeous with an MLBB lip color, pretty shades of pink and lilac with gold accents.
How does one decide?
I imagine the solution is to just grab both palettes!
Here’s a sneak peek of the Theodora Palette with a review upcoming soon!
