I love gift cards.
Gift cards for holidays, birthdays, special occasions, I don’t care whatever it is I love ‘em. I like giving gift cards alot.
Ok, go on, you can say it. OMG Muse you impersonal biatch! But listen….my sister is the type of person that freaking has everything and alot of my friend’s are like that too. It’s really difficult settling on a gift for people like that so gift cards are so awesome. I really like the idea of giving someone a little extra cash to spend at their favorite store, it’s a rather great thing for the receiver in my humblest.
Now to some extent I agree they are kinda impersonal which is why I always try to spice up the gift card with a small gift or little goodies to make up for the impersonal aspect of the card itself.
Here are 20 GREAT palette ideas that are $20 and under which would be great to stuff in a stocking, give as a small gift to people, or to accompany with a gift card.
What’s news today? My Tuesday is flowing along quite nicely today. I just got some nice news about a review I did which will be popping up somewhere shortly, kinda chuffed properly about that. Aside from that it’s the normal hum-drum Tuesday! Can’t wait for T-Day so I can stuff myself full of turkey…ok that was so a lie…I HATE turkey haha but I’ll dig into everything else thanks very much.
I was planning to do my Gift Guides after Thanksgiving actually but more and more people have e-mailed asking after them so I figure this means everyone is in full gift getting mode.
Today I’m covering cheap Christmas gifts. This is my guide to getting some great steals and deals on makeup, skincare, and more, all with really lower price tags so you can have a little spare change after the Holidays to indulge in all those semi-annual sales!
Christmas is on sale this year!
Jump for it!
There isn’t ever any GOOD excuse to refrain from reviewing incredible makeup but let me explain my side of the Urban Decay Book of Shadows Volume II tale. I know SO many of you have e-mailed begging and pleading for me to review but I kinda wanted to do looks with the palette before reviewing…sigh….sadly my schedule is always jammed tightly packed and I didn’t have that chance to do the looks which is why I’ve been held up with my review.
Don’t hate me k?
Since Urban Decay Friends and Family is on at the moment now is good as any a time to spread the cheer and joy that surrounds Book of Shadows II.
Note before making the jump please know the post is photo intensive. I’d really appreciate it if you not download images from the post as it will bring down my site. I took lots of photos because I know it’s fun to see each and every aspect of a makeup item but it’s also at the cost of possibly causing a problem with my server so please refrain from downloading images, thanks!
As if you weren’t broke enough already after Sephora, Beauty.com, and the million other Friends and Family events that went on this month…..now I have the dirty, nasty chore of telling you about Urban Decay’s Friend and Family Event. Please don’t hate me k? I’m honestly looking out for your best interest here even if it means spending more money hehe.

Come back and share your orders with the Muse? She’s pretty stocked up on UD but she might be tempted into purchasing some primer and other essentials.
Check back into the archives to see what’s the good word on Urban Decay.
Ok, so I’m a fool. Since yesterday I’ve seen Urban Decay tweeting happily away about how their Loose Pigments are discounted at 50% Off making them $10 bucks a piece.
Each time they tweet it I run over to the Urban Decay site and I look but the bloody pigments are still showing $20. So I’m sitting here scratching my head and thinking, “What the hell is UD on about?”
There’s a coupon code.
Here’s the deets.

I’m not clicking, I’m not moving my mouse to go to the Urban Decay site….I am sitting on my hands and being oh so good even though I’m simply sobbing inside to haul ever shade.
No, I won’t do it.
Maybe I won’t….
Just one probably won’t hurt….
