Victoria’s Secret Diamonds After Dark is the second Holiday 2012 Collection that the brand has launched. Lately, these color collections from VS really fail to excite me.
Sadly, there aren’t as magical as they once were and Victoria’s Secret is also a tad guilty of releasing them a little too late in the season for my taste. Typically VS Makeup is a hit or miss situation anyway but I generally love their limited edition seasonal color collections.
However, as of late they have just been a tad uneventful for me. Le sigh.
Diamonds After Dark does so sadly fall into the less than brilliant realm for me.
You take a look and let me know if you love it.
Victoria’s Seduced by Metallics is a Holiday 2012 Collection launching in store shortly (it’s already available online). I totally typed that Metallica, that’s what you get for listening to Fuel this early in the morning.
Don’t you find it kinda disappointing that Victoria Secret hasn’t released any real fancy collections lately? Or is that me? I know last year’s Holiday Collection was gorgeous….
I’ll keep hope alive for something posher as the Holidays draw closer. For now here’s a look at their Seduced by Metallics Collection!
Victoria’s Secret Nakeds Palette doesn’t not evoke my idea of naked, natural shades in all honesty. I said as much in my review. Now if I really wanted to define the naked, natural eye look that award, in my opinion, would go to Urban Decay with their Naked Palette.
However, according to many news sources including dispatch.com, Urban Decay has filed a compliant against Victoria’s Secret for being, well naked.
Yes, I’m that girl. The one obsessed with purchasing Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush goodies. How can you resist? They purposely tempt you with little buckets of makeup joy as you head for the register to pay for your purchases. They glare are you, whispering to take them home as you patiently wait in line.
Seriously, there’s some strategic calculations going on here so when you see a display of Beauty Rush by the cash register, just know it’s a marketing trick to tempt you and MAKE you buy them.
It could prove even more tempting now that the line has relaunched with a brand new look!
Take a peek!
Makeup Gods be with you at the register when you’re struggling with that 4 for $20 price tag, knowing you really don’t want to dish out $20 but doing it anyway!
Ahhhh the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Is the Victoria’s Secret The Nakeds Eye Kit Palette worth it?
This $28 palette features a slick little face plate that could get your blood pressure way up. Who doesn’t love brilliant packaging? Housing 10 shimmering shades of nude shadow, a brush for application, and an eyeliner pencil plus a how to get the look guide this one seemed like a hot pick for Fall.
