Chapstick Mango Sunrise Review

Chapstick Mango Sunrise

Chapstick Mango Sunrise Lip Balm is one of three new Tropical Paradise flavors that are launching for the Spring 2015/Summer 2015 season at drugstores. I feel Chapstick has come such a long way and it isn’t nearly as waxy and dense as it once was (But don’t tell anyone I’m still a Labello fangirl).

Remember that story I told you, about the time I ate an entire tube of Cherry Chapstick when I was like 4 or something?

That could potentially happen again with Chapstick Mango Sunrise and I’m not the least bit ashamed. I eat shimmer on my corn flakes in the morning why can’t I snack on delicious Chapstick? And I’m sure some of you would happily admit to eating lipstick (sans lead haha).

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Oil Balm Review & Swatches

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Oil Balm1

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Oil Balm ($35) is saving my dry skin life lately as the weather decides if it wants to stay cold or perhaps warm up a bit. I’m kinda in a transitioning stage and my skin is coming out of hibernation. One thing that’s really, really been working out well for me is Cerave Hydrating Cleanser. I stopped using cleansing oil and my other cleansers and I use this only and my skin is a lot less dry!

On top of that I use Dr. Jart Ceramidin Oil Balm on drier, patchier areas and yay for being hydrated and smooth!

Let’s take a look at this new balm!

Tarte Clay Pot Waterproof Liner Review & Swatches

Tarte Clay Pot Waterproof Liner4

I’ve been on this pot eyeliner kick lately and one of my favorite ones to use is Tarte Clay Pot Waterproof Liner in brown! Psstt even though the formula is difficult to use I’m also kinda digging the looks I can create using Milani’s new Fierce Foil Eyeliners!

None the less for some reason I’m obsessed with pot eyeliners lately. I’ve been lining my eyes and smudging it all up with a Q-Tip and just loving the results. I have a good deal of makeup that I test so it’s hard to stick to using the same thing daily but Tarte Clay Pot Waterproof Liner has become my daily go to for making my brown eyes pop!

Take a look!

Sonia Kashuk Sahara Sunset Blusher Review & Swatches

Sonia Kashuk Sahara Sunset Blusher 3

Sonia Kashuk Sahara Sunset Blusher in Casablanca ($11.99) is a new, limited edition blush sphere that launched with the Sonia Kashuk Sahara Sunset Spring 2015 Makeup Collection.

I admit to falling in love with this at a glance because not only do I love coral blushes with a passion but also because I thought the packaging was too cute! It quite reminded me of the new Ciate Blush spheres as well as the Guerlain Meteorites Bubble Blush. When you have great packaging it does draw me in for sure!

But I digress what really caught my eye about the new Sonia Kashuk Sahara Sunset Blusher was the color. I’m a mush for corals! This is such a fabulous shade of orange-y coral with incredible pigmentation!

Take a look!

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Foundation Review & Swatches

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Foundation

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Foundation ($7) is a new Invisible Camouflage Foundation launching with the Hard Candy Spring/Summer 2015 Collection that will be available in 8 permanent shade selections.

Hi, I’m the Muse, I’m a foundation and concealer snob. If there is one thing in the makeup world I believe in splurging on it would be 1. foundation and 2. concealer. I am under the impression that I cannot for the life of me not only find a color match from drugstore foundations or concealers but also find a formula I actually LIKE using. Some are too heavy, some too cakey, others are orange, too beige…it’s just a sea of foundations that just do not work for me. Rarely am I able to actually find a foundation product at the drugstore that I’m happy with! Likewise for concealer (although the drugstore concealer world has been making some huge strides lately)!

I present you with Hard Candy Glamoflauge Foundation and challenge you to buy it and use it. And proceed to love it.
