NYX Honey Dew Me Up ($17) is a new facial primer inspired by the golden glow on honey. The primer was formulated to neutralizer discolorations and redness while providing moisture and luminosity to skin.
It’s really an innovative product for NYX but I was shocked at the price of Honey Dew Me Primer as NYX is typically very budget friendly at they are toeing the line with a near $20 price tag.
But let’s take a look and see if it is worth it!
The NYX Wonder Stick (not to be confused with the NYX Wonder Pencil) is a new dual sided chubby all purpose chubby pencil. The NYX Wonder Stick is available in 4 different shade combinations and includes one universal shade for shading, concealing, highlighting and contouring.
Think of it as in all in one wonder for contouring or perhaps contouring for dummies (me, of course,, being a dummy about contouring!).
It’s available now at NYXcosmetics.com for $12!
Check out a diagram how to use it below with before and after pics!
NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer is a new makeup primer inspired by the golden glow of honey. Honey Dew Me Up Primer is formulated to neutralize discolorations and redness with light reflective gold flecks to create a luminous glow on skin! Supposedly it contains collagen to smooth skin, honey that acts as a antiseptic, and gold flecks to give skin a radiant finish!
NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer is $17 and available now at nyxcosmetics.com.
Sounds interesting and reminds me a little of Guerlain L’Or’ Radiance Concentrate but at a far nicer price eh?
What do you think?
Might be interesting to try out?
Not sure about the spatula applicator though! Wouldn’t a pump been a little less messier!?
Maybelline is going Leather for Fall 2014 and NYX has some Suede up its sleeve with the introduction of the new Suede Shadow Palette for Fall 2014.
This delicious palette is named after the texture of the shadows, which are, apparently, like suede!
L’Oreal’s beauty portfolio is about to get bigger as they are about to acquire and buy out NYX Cosmetics. It is undisclosed how much L’Oreal paid for NYX but none the less NYX Cosmetics will shortly be apart of the L’Oreal family.
RRTnews reports, “NYX is a dynamic company that has done a tremendous job of harnessing the power of social media, digital marketing and multi-channel distribution. Both L’Oréal and NYX share a passion for innovation and a confidence in the strength and vitality of the color cosmetics market,” said Frédéric Rozé, President and CEO of L’Oréal USA.
The brand will continue with their current leadership team and remain a California based brand!
I doubt much will change for NYX when this deal is finalized. I’m not an expert on cruelty free beauty but NYX is currently cruelty free and I imagine it will remain so after the acquisition.
What are your thoughts on L’Oreal buying out NYX Cosmetics?
